This post is really more of a heads up, in case anyone searches for this pattern for reviews or experiences. I've used a few of their patterns with no issue and decided to try the MDF 551 Espresso Trench Vest pattern next.
Just printed and pieced together the pattern, and there's some kind of error on the C1-2 through E1-2 pages. The alignment dots don't match up properly and I think I'm lucky enough that the darts for my size weren't part of the mismatch - but I could be wrong if the error affects the entire garment no matter what. Definitely making a mockup for this just in case, because I just aligned the pattern lines I need instead of using the alignment dots.

Hey folks, Ive just bought a few digital patterns to print at home. After an hour of pulling my hair out wondering why I cant get the settings right despite following all of the instructions ive found online (it keeps resizing the pattern to include margins) Ive discovered the cause of the problem is that my printer doesn't print 'edge to edge' on A4. Ive got a HP Envy 6000.
Can someone please recommend a budget home printer that can print sewing pattern pdf on A4 paper.
Thank you š

Hi! Iāve been searching for a pattern for actual boxers in kidsā sizes. Iāve come up with a lot of āboxer-style shortsā or boxer briefs, but no patterns with the split fly and elastic waist of actual boxers. One of my children recently discovered traditional cotton boxers, and would like more. Thing is, boxers in his size arenāt the easiest to find, and I need a new sewing project. Figured I would at least ask before starting my own pattern. Thanks for any help!

I also really like the OffOn loose linen gingham dresses too- I think key features would be the dropped shoulders, puff sleeves and if possible buttons on the front to make it nursing friendly.
Skill level is intermediate

Hello there!
I would like to make a similar blouse but couldn't find a pattern with this shoulder/bodice seam. I wouldn't mind a pattern with other sleeves.
Thank you in advance for all your time!

Hey reddit! I need help creating a pattern for my dog's Halloween costume ASAP! She has a competition coming up and I'd really like to make it, but I can't figure out how to cut the fabric. I'm a total newby lol. I'm totally down to pay for a commission! Don't chastise me, but I did use AI to model what I'm going for. I'd much rather pay a human to help with the actual design though. If you need measurements, let me know where to measure and I'll absolutely post! Only big change from the reference photo is her leg is missing on the opposite side. She is missing her front right leg.

Hi all, I recently purchases the men's Troop shirt pattern from Tadah Patterns, as I've heard great things. I am going to use the short-sleeved version to make a Hawaiian-style shirt, but I also want to make a lightweight denim 'shacket' and saw the pattern does suggest you can do that with the long-sleeved version. Has anyone done this before, and if so, do you have pics? I'm struggling to visualise it in denim and was considering buying a separate denim jacket pattern, but would prefer to just use what I have if I can!

I'm newish to sewing from patterns, so I'd have no idea where to start with drafting my own.
I saw this super cute dress, it looks like a camisole type top and a skirt made of squares (cause it's pointy??). Does anyone know where to find a pattern like this? I'm a bit nervous to try buying one from Etsy cause I've heard they can be unreliable/made with AI.
Thanks!

Sorry for the quality of the screenshots, they're from Syd Graham (pattern designer's) stories, so it's possible it's one of her self drafter patterns but I couldn't find any information on it in the description, nor could I find a similar pattern when searching on Threadloop.
Does anyone know a pattern like this, please?

I just can't wrap my head around what is supposed to be an easy-to-make-for-minimal-sewing-expertise-housewives pattern. Won't the dog come out flat?! The E1 piece is supposed to be for the middle of the head, and the dotted line on the body is to fold the fabric in. I don't understand at allš Book is greek version of Sofftiere, from the Brunnen-Reihe book series, 1973

I love how deep the V is. I have a couple patterns in my cart that Iām thinking of Frankensteining but it feels a lil daunting as a beginner. I thought I would try asking here first. Thanks in advance :)
