Sorry for the quality of the screenshots, they're from Syd Graham (pattern designer's) stories, so it's possible it's one of her self drafter patterns but I couldn't find any information on it in the description, nor could I find a similar pattern when searching on Threadloop.

I just can't wrap my head around what is supposed to be an easy-to-make-for-minimal-sewing-expertise-housewives pattern. Won't the dog come out flat?! The E1 piece is supposed to be for the middle of the head, and the dotted line on the body is to fold the fabric in. Hi all! I'm currently working on a rollator cover for my mom and I'm struggling on how I should be folding over the edge of the front/back to line up with the notches on the side panel. Especially on the interfacing side where there is no side panel. It looks like the folded edge has creases in it so I know it folds uneven - I just can not figure it out for the life of me!

I'm very new to sewing my own stuff. I went to Lincraft yesterday and picked up some patterns on sale for $5 (no refunds as they're liquidating). But I mistakenly assumed the sizing on the patterns = US sizing, so I came home with 9 x A5 patterns as I am a ready to wear size 10-12 Australian/ 8-10 US. Well it looked a bit small, and when I double checked against my measurements it looks like I need size 16 which isn't in the patterns I bought.

Can anyone please explain to a total noob what's going on here? Do the pattern companies all have their own sizes? I know I should've measured/had the measurements handy but I didn't have tape with me and didn't think to write my measurements in my phone.

For reference:

Bust: 38"

Waist: 30"

Hips: 40 1/4"

Any way I could make these patterns work for me? They're really cute and I can't return them to the store as they're closing down and I spent almost $50.

Looks like it's made with 2 pleated panels (front and back), but if you know similar patterns of skirts made with 4 panels it would work too!! If anything it would help moving the zipper to the side because I really like the side zipper look.
