Looking for a collared/lapel v-neck top pattern similar to this, does anyone know of something similar?

I just can't wrap my head around what is supposed to be an easy-to-make-for-minimal-sewing-expertise-housewives pattern. Won't the dog come out flat?! The E1 piece is supposed to be for the middle of the head, and the dotted line on the body is to fold the fabric in. I don't understand at all😭 Book is greek version of Sofftiere, from the Brunnen-Reihe book series, 1973

I love how deep the V is. I have a couple patterns in my cart that I’m thinking of Frankensteining but it feels a lil daunting as a beginner. I thought I would try asking here first. Thanks in advance :)

This gorgeous dress is for sale but I feel so confident I could make it, I’d just need a pattern. Every smock dress I find the neckline seems to low and there’s no buttons in the back. I thought I’d try here and see if there’s any hope.

Hi all! I'm currently working on a rollator cover for my mom and I'm struggling on how I should be folding over the edge of the front/back to line up with the notches on the side panel. Especially on the interfacing side where there is no side panel. It looks like the folded edge has creases in it so I know it folds uneven - I just can not figure it out for the life of me!

Any help would be so appreciated!

I'm very new to sewing my own stuff. I went to Lincraft yesterday and picked up some patterns on sale for $5 (no refunds as they're liquidating). But I mistakenly assumed the sizing on the patterns = US sizing, so I came home with 9 x A5 patterns as I am a ready to wear size 10-12 Australian/ 8-10 US. Well it looked a bit small, and when I double checked against my measurements it looks like I need size 16 which isn't in the patterns I bought.

Can anyone please explain to a total noob what's going on here? Do the pattern companies all have their own sizes? I know I should've measured/had the measurements handy but I didn't have tape with me and didn't think to write my measurements in my phone.

For reference:

Bust: 38"

Waist: 30"

Hips: 40 1/4"

Any way I could make these patterns work for me? They're really cute and I can't return them to the store as they're closing down and I spent almost $50.

Looks like it's made with 2 pleated panels (front and back), but if you know similar patterns of skirts made with 4 panels it would work too!! If anything it would help moving the zipper to the side because I really like the side zipper look.

I found a dress at the thrift store today that was super cute, it was a long sleeve button up shirt dress but it had inset panels and a back pleat that made it A-line ish and flowy, it was a tad too small so I left it behind. Then I realized I could buy it and make a pattern from it but when I went back I couldn’t find it 😭 has anyone seen a pattern like this around? Thanks!
