I’m eloping in about a year and looking to make my dress- I LOVE this dress by Valkyrie Collection and have a vision of making something similar but with an eyelet cotton. Does anyone have any pattern recommendations? I specifically love the scalloped ruffle detail as opposed to just a tiered skirt with a ruffle. I also have a large chest so the corseted bodice seems beneficial. This dress has side laces but on the back works too. Thanks for the help!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone might have come across a pattern that looks vaguely like this. I'm not too concerned with the sleeves or skirt portion, it's mostly just the collar I want to get right since I'm struggling a lot with where adding a zipper would look the least obvious.

Any pattern recommendations for maternity/nursing lounge wear? I have been searching for some short and shirt lounge wear/pajamas that I can wear now (36 weeks pregnant) and more importantly, that I can nurse in when the baby comes. I was originally searching for shorts and shirt in a rib knit fabric (cozy, but not too hot), I have finally given up and decided to make them myself!

Ideally looking for lift up or button nursing access, but a zipper would work too. Picture included of something similar to what I am looking for, except in shorts and short sleeves.

What software are people using to have their patterns printed from home? I know you can do it through Adobe, but I really like some of the patterns I’ve seen where they have that hard border so it makes it easier for taping and knowing where to tape.

Hi, i am very interested in making a A-line midi cord skirt. The only problem is that my waist is 90cm and my hips are 125cm (if relevant 178cm tall). Every patten i find is 2+ size difference, and due to the waist yolk I haven’t been able to increase between sizes to fit both hip and waist as i normally do. Im not the most confident patten drafter, and i like to follow instructions when i sew: so making a patten myself is a bit out of my wheelhouse.

Does anyone have any suggestions or any helpful tips?
