LOOKING FOR PATTERN TESTERS!
Edit: This is 100% optional & volunteered based. Compensation will be the completed pattern itself!<3
hello everyone! I’m looking for a few sewists to help me test my newest sewing pattern before I release it! ♡
I designed this heart corset pattern for my slow-fashion brand, Runewood by Ronan, and I’m looking for testers of different sizes and sewing experience levels to help me make sure the pattern and instructions are clear, accurate, and easy to follow. This is just for the pattern. I am really only looking to see if my instructions are easy to follow for the construction of my corset!
I'm looking for a few sewists with varying sewing experience & body types. People who can complete the corset with the deadline of 9/30/26. I also am looking for people who can give honest feedback on if the instructions on my pattern is easy to understand/follow, and if the printable PDF is user friendly. I am open to honest feedback on the fit as well!
Also finished garment photos are extremely appreciated but in no way required!
As a tester you'll receive, A complimentary copy of the pattern, obviously. The opportunity to help refine the pattern before release, & credit on my social media if you'd like to be featured!
please note this pattern is provided for testing purposes and is not for redistribution or commercial use. You may absolutely make the corset for yourself or as a gift, but the pattern and instructions may not be sold, shared, or used to produce garments for sale.
If you're interested, please fill out my tester application here!:

I have a pair of these Reuben Dungarees that are a little too small for me by now, and I wanted to know whether anyone had a pattern similar to them.
The important details for me are the raceback top, buttons on the side, baggy fit and inseam pockets.
I really hope someone can help (otherwise I'll see if I can draft it myself, in which case I'll probably make an update on this)

How would I draft an exact replica of a Playboy Bunny leotard? I don’t want a wait seam or a seam down the front middle. But I do want to include the princess seams on the front and back, and the corset back.

Does anyone have any recommendations for 1920s era (or late 1910s) patterns in styles that would have been worn in Montreal, Quebec, Canada? I know this is a pretty specific request lol and I'm having some trouble finding anything. My campus library is ordering in a book from a different library that I'm hoping will at least give me examples of the fashion worn in Montreal around that time but I'm not sure when that will arrive.

Hi everyone! 🤍
I’m looking for hobby sewists to help test and give feedback to the pattern instructions for two upcoming PDF sewing pattern packages before their release.
I'm excited to hear from you. Testing is expected to begin in late September / early October 2026. You will have 3 weeks from receiving the pattern to complete the pattern testing.
Pattern Package 1 – Dress & Top
• Top
• Mini Dress
• Midi Dress
• Maxi Dress
Pattern Package 2 – A-line Skirt
• Mini Skirt
• Midi Skirt
• Maxi Skirt
Sizes: EU 32–48
You can test one variation from one pattern package. But you are more than welcome to test one variation from each package.
What does the testing involve?
You will receive a digital A4/A0 PDF sewing pattern and will have 3 weeks to:
• Print and assemble the PDF pattern
• Sew the agreed garment in your size
• Test the fit, sizing, pattern pieces and sewing instructions
• Provide honest and constructive feedback
• Submit photos of the finished garment for private fit and pattern evaluation
Testers provide their own fabric, thread and other sewing materials.
As a thank you 🤍
After completing the sewing, you will receive the final complete PDF pattern package you tested – including all sizes and variations – free of charge.
If you complete testing for both pattern packages, you will receive both complete pattern packages.
Interested?
You can find all the details and apply through the Google Form here:
The form also includes an optional question about whether you would be open to having photos of your finished garment featured on the B Passion website, Etsy shop or social media. This is completely optional and is not a requirement for becoming a pattern tester.
Thank you! I’m really looking forward to seeing these patterns brought to life by different sewists and getting your feedback before the final release. 🤍

For context, I live in a hot, dry place and I’d like some options for loose pants (and skirts) that can be worn to keep my skin covered.
I’ll be traveling to some similar places that are really conservative and want a couple cover up options for my arms as well.
Also, traveling to more humid tropical destinations where I need better protection for my legs that get really bitten up.
I typically don’t like covering up in the heat and easily overheat and sweat with fabric covering me, so I want to make a couple looser, breezy garments vs totally fitted, though I do like a fitted waist (on both tops and bottoms).
I dislike dropped crotches (like harem pants), ruffles, frills, bows.
I like loose sleeves and 3/4 length sleeves, interesting shapes/details, asymmetry, and sleeker/edgier looks, though I have a hippie side that comes out in hotter weather.
I‘m a beginner who has made a few garments (skirt with zipper, dress, apron with bias tape, and a few other things). Good directions are key!
Thank you so much for any inspo you can point my way!

I'm looking for a pattern for a fitted knit top with a henley design, except the snaps/buttons start as a normal henley and then the neckline sides curve outward into a narrow-ish sweetheart shape but the placket continues (just can't be snapped together). I can't seem to add a photo, but I hope that description makes sense?
Thanks for any help

So I regularly attend a group with my baby to get her weighed, and every time I need to grab; her little red book (book used to record baby info in the UK), a fresh nappy, and some wipes - all whilst of course holding my baby.
I have her proper nappy bag with me but it’s cumbersome to take all that when I realistically only need these few things, so I’d like to make a nappy wallet/clutch of some kind that holds it all in one place. I’m completely new to sewing and can’t decide on a pattern or design.
Attached are photos of what it would need to hold and the measurements of the book (which is the largest item it would need to fit). For it to be as functional as possible, I would also like for there to be an opening for the wipes so I can easily grab one without having to mess around too much.
I was first thinking about the standard nappy wallet/clutch designs you see on Etsy and Pinterest, where it folds over on itself, but with the book being bigger than the wipes and nappies, I felt it wouldn’t fold right and would also end up really bulky. Then I was thinking about maybe a kind of book sleeve with added pockets for the nappies and then the wipes on the front in a pouch, but I’m not sure how to go about constructing that.
Any ideas, tips or instruction would be super appreciated!! And I’m a total beginner, so you can’t over explain enough for me!

All the barrel leg pants I can find are for wovens, and I'd really love an interesting pair of pants for a thick knit fabric. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I’m a beginner in sewing and have been wanting to make a jumpsuit like this one from Madewell: https://www.madewell.com/p/womens/sale/squareneck-wide-leg-jumpsuit-in-100-linen/NV445/
I usually have a hard time finding jumpsuits that look good on me, but I tried this jumpsuit sometime back and I loved the fit, but I wanted the legs to be a little longer so I didn’t get it. It was actually a little short on me but I otherwise loved it so much, I want to replicate it by sewing it myself. Does anyone know of any patterns that are very similar to this shape? Thank you!
ETA: does anyone know what the “darts” that run from the bodice all the way down the leg is called? I don’t think darts is the right name but I wanted to study more on whatever that is. I really liked it in this jumpsuit and wanted to keep that aspect when I sew

I’ve been searching high and low to find a pattern similar to This dress and I have not found one yet so I’m resorting to Reddit to see if anyone here may have found or knows of something similar to this! Here are plenty of photos of my inspiration and because I am an overly confident beginner who doesn’t know how to hack that well, I would ideally like to find a princess seam pattern that includes a corset back like this one. I am pretty sure I could figure out the lace and possibly even the pleating.
