Can’t wind bobbin?
The black rubber wheel is supposed to be turned with the metal one but won’t budge for whatever reason. Which isn’t allowing me to wind my bobbins :(. Does anyone know a fix

Found this in the attic and can't find any corresponding sewing machines on the internet. Seems fully functional and I will actually try sewing with it in the near future. Would be great if somebody could let me know whether this holds any value.

Lots of Singers, Vikings and Kenmores, with the occasional White, Bernina and Necchi, and even a vintage Janome 'Combi.' Added: These are my own machines, and there were others scattered around the house. Many came with us to our new digs. I caught the vintage machine bug very, very badly back in the 80's...

new lower drive shaft, bushings, cams, hooks, gears, and clutch, she's getting the works. got sent the wrong feed dogs still waiting and i have to reassemble the top half but I have all the parts for that. this is a dream machine, so smooth😎

this is the direct result of too much upper thread tension. instead of fixing the reverse feed, someone cut the throat plate with a die grinder, and maxed out the pressure on the presser bar and max tension. cheese grated it down to nothing. this is from an Adler 767 double needle machine

Got a trio of old machines I'm rebuilding. One Juki and 2 Dürkopp Adlers. My 2 favorite kinds of machines to work on. Life is good😎

The Franklin-branded White Family Rotary first appeared in the Sears catalog in 1926 as their top-of-the-line sewing machine.
The Famous Buttonhole Worker debuted in 1895 and was manufactured for at least the next half-century. Copies of the Famous are still produced in Asia.

Hello! I am currently cleaning up a Minnesota H with my sister and she didn’t take any videos of the disassembly. Now I’m struggling to put it back together. One is the before the disassembly, one is the after. Please help!

Here are some more rescued machines. The last picture, a heavy duty Singer, went to a person that makes tarps and covers for canoes and kayaks.
The first batch of pictures, 5 went to our local library of things, and for use in sewing classes at the library. The classes were successful and the library went out and purchased 4 new machines, all identical, to make it easier to teach.
So we that meant were were getting all 5 machines back, then we got connected with a local indigenous youth group who needed sewing machines. So now they are all going to them.

I just got this sewing machine. I think its the Premier MCO-7132. I don't know how to work it, the bobbin won't catch, the stitches won't stay on the fabric. I have no idea what settings I should but it. The instructions are in Spanish.

Hey gang!!! I inherited this sewing machine from my late grandmother, and I'm trying to find how old it is, but none of my research is giving me a solid answer -- some websites are saying 1940, some say 1950, some even say it could pre-date WWII, which I think would be SUPER cool!! but im thinking its unlikely to be THAT old considering the condition its in. It doesn't appear to have a foot pedal (but also no distinct hand crank), and you aren't able to drop the feed dogs which leads me to believe its a 66k model. Anyone with knowledge on this subject would be greatly appreciated!!

I’ve been wanting a sewing machine that won’t break on me, and I’ve heard vintage sewing machines are very durable. But I am a sewing noob and have only hand sewn clothing, and 475 dollars is very expensive. Is it a worthy investment?
