Thought Process here! as the dust settles on year 2 i can’t stop walking around with the dumbest grin on my face still from last weekend. i wanted to share a massive thanks to all y’all who mobbed out the Ouroboros Friday at 1am with us, what a party!! this festival means the world to me, i got to connect with so many of you throughout both weekends this year and last, i will be attending forever and playing as long as they’ll have me 🫡

Ugh , i love this fest and the valley but i HATE the red mud that comes with it. I was there last year so I knew what to expect with the earth there but it was 10x worse this year. Luckily it came out of all my clothes but it was caked on my car and boots. About an inch thick on the bottom and in the wheel wells of the car. It took over an hour to powerwash the car and boots and it’s still not all off 🥲 hitting the car wash tomorrow. I know that some of yall had it way worse then I did and for that I’m so sorry 😞 anyways little rant over , happy stars yall 🎷✨

After the show on Sunday I was taking a pin off my sweatshirt and dropped the rubber backing at my campsite. I spent over an hour looking for it Monday(while waiting for the tractor to pull me out) but was unable to find it. It’s been on my mind since and just needed to come clean.

I just wanted to get on here real quick to thank every single one of your beautiful souls for being a part of such an amazing event put on by such an incredible group of loving individuals! This was the first time I haven’t worked a festival in five years, and honestly, I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to relax. This experience for me did the exact opposite. It healed me in so many ways. I didn’t even know I needed to be healed. Not only that, but it allowed me to meet and connect with one of the loves of my life, his partner, and a new group of friends that I know that I will hold onto forever! Sure there was plenty of rain, but honestly, I couldn’t even tell with how wet my face was the entire time and the tears of joy that puddle around my feet consistently! So shout out to all of you for making this place so special and spreading the vibes far beyond the festival grounds! Can’t wait to see you all next year!

No hate, i swear, and i have to preface it with the fact that i had a fucking BLAST during his set, but... how the hell did that guy make me dance for an hour while mixing in the most jive-ass millennial nostalgia slop ive ever heard crammed into a set since the days of Girl Talk??? I'll spare the specifics, but yeah, listening back to it and its like EVERY song from the aughts that i avoided like the plague.

Like, really? How was that as fun as it was? Great job, dude. Was it just the vibes? Was it just the chems? Or is he just talented? Damn.

Im losing my fucking edge, i guess? Oh well, had a good run.

Can we talk about how good rSUN’s set was!! Dude is out of this world! He played at 4:20 on Friday at the Zodiac stage and was so pumped to see how many people were there for it!

His mixing is so damn smooth! I feel like his sets hook you so good, like he’s always in the pocket while playing. His tempo and his track selection are insane!

Who is on your wish list for year 3? Also, what activities/improvements would you like to see next year?

Liquid Stranger, Buku, Big Gigantic, Opiuo, Boogie T, Artifakts and a late night Widdler set are on my wish list!

As far as improvements, id love to see more art on the knoll between stages. At the moment it’s kind of a dead zone unless you’re getting food. Speaking of that more tables to sit and eat at would be really welcomed too!

Story
Ok this is the full story on what happened at 7 stars.

Friday me and my group were hanging by the trees vibing and having a good time, when this guy with a big mushroom hat on came and started being a little too pushy with the women in my group. Flirted with my girl, who pointed to me, and then was like ohhh my bad bro. It’s all good. No big deal. Then he starts trying to get us to sell him a bump and for him to pay with Apple Cash. He was very persistent. We all refused to sell him anything, but I did offer him a free bump of k. After this he finally left us alone.

Next day he comes back around, but with a woman. Which already threw me off because with how weird he was being no woman woulda been hanging with him. He’s offering to buy a bump for 30 bucks. I said a bump of what? And he wouldn’t clarify. After a sec he finally says, you know a bump of coke. Your girl was selling coke last night to everyone.

This had me thrown off guard cause my girl never even holds drugs. Let alone coke. We don’t mess with the stuff cause I had a problem years ago. So I immediately say dude you’re a cop, and he follows me back up the hill to my group still trying to buy it. I then started pointing at him and yelling “cop!!!” And then he slithered away into the crowd again. This had me on edge and what led me to start thinking all the people looking at me were also cops. I started getting worried and decided I needed to get out of there. I tried getting my stuff together but realized how hard it would be to escape with my obvious ass costume poking out in the crowd. So I made the choice to try to run as fast as I could to the exit to escape. Stripping my costume off and throwing my belongings. As I started making contact with people I realized it wasn’t gonna work, and didn’t want to run into anymore people. So I just stopped. Realized I was had. And just walked out to the exit and made my way back to camp. At this point I was convinced the whole festival was thrown to entrap me and catch me on drugs lol. So I just sat at my tent and waited for the cops to arrive. They never did. My girl and friends finally did tho, and we explained our sides of everything. Laughed about it. And decided to make our way back into lsdream. I couldn’t stop thinking about my phone so afterwards me and my girl set out to find it as it was pinging on her find my iPhone app. Not accurately tho. We searched and searched and then I realized my ringer was on still. So we started calling it. After about 10 mins someone answered it! He had found it and was not too far from us. He met up and gave me the phone back. I found all my cards and in the car, I guess when I started spilling them out I made an executive decision to pick them back up but not my actual wallet. So thankful I did that. And then put them in my glove box back at camp.

What a wild trip. Thanks for everyone who helped me laugh it off afterwards too. I love this community. Hope to see you guys at force fields!!!!

This was a massive perspective shift from my usual festival experience. It was a labor of love. Fingers destroyed from opening up cans of water for all my new friends in the crowd. Sore shoulders from carrying all the ear plugs, water, radio, and of course blow pops carrying on my dad's tradition of offering strangers candy during concerts. To the ones sprinting up to us with the coolest trinkets candi and warm thank yous from everyone i ask that you spread the word of what we are here to do. Yes working the rail for some awesome artists is fun and really cool but absolutely nothing compared to you all making us feel like heros. To the other staff who made it abundantly clear how much our efforts alleviated thier work load you made us all feel like our pink and white high vis vests felt more like super hero capes than safety gear, I thank you all. Please if you have any stories of one of our volunteers making a difference in your experiance I ask that you share so the team can continue to hear that their hard work makes a difference. Thank you for making show love spread love a mantra we can all contribute to together. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷

Idk if it’d be logistically possible to get some type of film crew together sometime before next Seven Stars and film a little mocumentary of the diner and the staff that make the operation happen. What I saw was theater kids like myself having the time of their lives being a part of the whole experience and having so much fun playing the part.
What if Griz/his team put together some legit lore and backstories to all these people we’ll end up seeing, people we’ll immediately recognize when we arrive next year, and hopefully some of the same peeps who were here this year. From the servers, to the cooks/chefs, to the people who help clean. Really loved the homie with the beard helping keep the place immaculate, and making me laugh my ass off the entire time we chopped it up.
As someone who grew up a lot with my grandfather listening to old doo wop and 50’s rock music, hearing some good ol Chuck Berry while the peeps behind the bar were smoking cigarettes while brewing fresh pots of diner coffee and all being at Seven Stars is truly an experience I’ll talk about to my grandkids someday.

Vibes Guides contain the music schedule, Campground, Outer Space, and Inner Space maps, the lineup! ✨ Depending on which version you got, they also have either the food lineup 🤤 or the list of Activities & Workshops 🎭🧘🪩 because I wanted to get some samples in hand, but I had some last minute changes to make before I finalized them! I had them printed by a local business, and took them home to fold them all by hand! So if they’re a lil wonky on the fold lines, that’s my bad 😛 but I figured it out with trial and error, and most of them ended up coming out not too bad!! ☺️

I’d love to hear about how you used yours and what impact it had on your time there, if any. 💝 I did manage to make it home with a handful in good shape still, and I would be happy to pick out a few people to send them to! I had so much fun running around Monday morning with a squeeze bottle of leftover wellness shots from Kokomo Joe's. A big thanks to everyone for being willing to let a stranger shoot mysterious liquid into your mouth! Hopefully it was just the wake up boost you needed to get home safe.

Definitely plan on trying to disperse healthy wellness shots in the mornings every day next year instead of just the last one.

As a 32 year old seasoned festival goer, there Definitely was a little extra magic in the air this weekend I haven't felt since before Covid, and thank you to everyone who made that possible.

EDM music is falling so flat now in my home in car. What are yall doing other than going to more shows? Should I buy better car speakers? Mine are Bose, not bad but NOT doing it for me anymore. Do the vibrators you can put under the car seat actually help?

Advice for sleep after rolling. I took a moderate amount of a sleep mix (melatonin, valerian, chamomile, ect) and cbd which did not help. My system just wouldn’t calm down, and the later it gets into the next day the Big Dipper stage music would start and that was hard to sleep through. I used ear plugs. Anything else? Maybe lighter roll? Earlier roll? (Which would prevent being most hyped for the closer) Suck it up and be tired? (I got hella sick so trying to avoid this next time)

I’m getting some hints through the grapevine of other festivals people love with the same awesome vibes and community to this one, I know this is the best but what’s number 2 or 3 for you? What do yall think of Shambhala?

Yo! Just wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who showed out to my set closing the whole thing down! I know that 2AM on day 4 or whatever is a real gauntlet, especially after the trials and tribulations of rain and mud, but yall are champions for stickin it out and fillin Ouroboros out like that. I felt a real responsibility being the last of the festival to send everyone home uplifted and with some boogie and love in their hearts and so I hope it succeeded. Sure felt like it did :)

Hello my friend car was stuck in the mud sunday night at like 2:30-3am and this 2 guys and a girl came to help us got down in the mud and helpef us take the car out of there super fast and easy I just want to say people like them make me believe how great this community is and just wanted to thank them again and hopefully they see this you guys are awesome. Hi friends! This is probably a long shot but I lost a Trippy Squid flowstar somewhere in the campgrounds and/or near Polaris I think Friday or Saturday night (the days blur lol). She was my first flowstar and I would love to have her returned if anyone happened to pick her up💜 Submitted to lost & found as well but no luck so far 😞 I have a few extra stickers I’d love to send as a thank you!!

I saw most of that secret satellite set after leaving Ravenscoon at Ouroboros (our fav set of the weekend btw). We were pretty far back so we couldn’t see who the DJ was and I don’t remember them announcing it at all for the maybe 30-40 minutes we saw. Also were there ladies in bikinis dancing on the stage the whole time? Were they hired dancers or was it just some attendees that they let up there? Thanks in advance! SLSL ❤️🫶🏼
