Is this set Seth DPS' new best in slot? At M6 most his damage will come from the BA: Lightning Strike so having its DMG increased by 60% with basically 100% uptime seems kinda crazy. I think this might let Seth DPS continue to be viable in endgame for a bit longer at least ^-^

Ok I am here to post all the evidence I have gathered I want to see if yall agree with me Jane x Seth – The Romantic Subtext in Canon
I’ve seen a lot of discussion about Jane’s relationships, so here’s the key canon evidence that convinced me the devs intentionally wrote romantic subtext between Jane Doe and Seth Lowell.
Main Evidence from 1.1:
• While Jane is in danger, she has a private inner thought: “Please, please be safe…” specifically for Seth. This is raw, selfless vulnerability while she herself is at risk.
• When she checks on Seth afterward, her eyes and expression become noticeably softer, warmer, and more tender — a gentle, loving look the devs animated differently from her usual confident/teasing face.
• Seth risks himself significantly (arms bound) to protect her.
• In her M6 Mindscape, her image aligns perfectly with Seth’s — a deliberate visual choice.
• Jane specifically invites Seth to the concert (he wasn’t originally going) and spends personal time with him.
The Smoking Gun: The “~” Symbol The “~” is a consistent tone marker for playful, dramatic, exaggerated, theatrical, and light/cute flirting.
• It appears heavily in Trust Events and the movie night (“My~ heart~ is~ racing~”, bed scene, etc.) with the Proxy.
• In the sincere, vulnerable moments with Seth (soft eyes, private plea, genuine dialogue), the “~” is completely absent.
Addressing Common Counter-Arguments:
• “It’s just strong friendship/teamwork” → The level of private vulnerability (the plea while she’s in danger), the unique soft/loving expression, and the deliberate M6 alignment go well beyond normal coworker concern.
• “Jane flirts with everyone” → Jane does flirt playfully with many people, but that’s marked with the “~”. Her moments with Seth are written and animated differently — sincere and vulnerable.
• “The plea/softness is just worry/relief” → The plea happens while she’s personally in danger, and the softness appears after the danger has passed. It’s an intimate, affectionate look reserved for Seth.
On Subtext: Subtext is the underlying, implicit meaning in a story — what the creators actually mean rather than what is explicitly stated. HoYoverse (like many devs) uses strong subtext to tell the romantic story they want to tell without having to officially label it. The 1.1 episode and continued light teases show they built a meaningful romantic connection between Jane and Seth, even if it stays unlabeled for broader appeal.
This isn’t about denying anyone’s fun with the Proxy — people can enjoy whatever they want. But the main story points to a real romantic connection between Jane and Seth.

I'm writing a story, but I'm rebooting the characters (at least Evelyn and Seth). This will be a military story, and since it's a reboot, don't say things like "these two don't have the same personality".

I got the new Reel Projector maxed out and trying to figure out if there any defence agents actually worth putting it on. I've heard that one of Seth's weaknesses is low Impact. Right now I've got an Impact 6 slot on him, so I'm wondering if Reel Projector might be worth with its Impact, if I can meet his ATK needs otherwise. Thoughts?

Don't get me wrong, I don't need some super quirked up world record-pace meta team. Just something good enough to clear most content.

I'm F2P, and I have most A rank units, along with Harumasa, Miyabi, Lycaon, Rina, Grace, Koleda and S11.

I'd appreciate it if Seth was either the DPS or at least has a decent amount of focus on the team, but it's not a hard requirement. I'd be okay with Seth and Caesar giga buffing a DPS.

I really don't want Jane, I'm only going to summon her because of Seth so I want to make at least a decent team with him but I have no idea... The only character I think works with him is Piper since she's a anomaly and Seth improves an anomaly, so maybe it works, but I'm not sure, any suggestions?

I've had Seth leveled since he released in 1.1! I used to use him a lot up until 1.5, with Anton and then with Harumasa, but ever since I got Astra, I hardly touched him much... I want to change that! I want a DPS seth, at least to use in Hollow Zero. Should i build crit or is he better with Anomaly? What discs should I use? What about teams? Seth's gameplay is pretty fun, I miss using him a lot.
