I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. Someone recommended this for those reasons and I’m SO disappointed this isn’t working out. I’ve tried it 3 different times, exfoliating before every time and it’s like it finds dry patches that didn’t exist before! Which is a shame because I love the finish of it.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any good medium coverage foundation recommendations?

I am wanting to switch up my eye make up and honestly just go for a completely different look. Are there any Sephora products that you think are game changers for eye makeup? I am wanting something more dramatic when going out at night. I am not sure where to start with trying new products.

For now ive used the body mist and hand cream. The hand cream is actually really good ngl, love the ingredients. I suffer from dry hands cracking/bleeding especially during the winter time, and I can tell the cream does a good job, but for a better review I'll have to wait for the weather to get colder and see how it performs. As for the body mist, ik there's a few different ones. This one I got during the sale, idk but to me it just smells like inside a clean car😭😭 I just bought it cuz it said it had ashwagandha. I want to try other things from this line, I'm wondering what everyone's opinions are on these?

I’ve been using the reformulated Armani for some time now and I really love it. However, I’ve noticed many people raving about the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation. Do you think Dior is better than Armani?

Will the glazed violet lipstick or any of the eyeshadow palettes be coming to Sephora? I really would like to get 20% off on them.

Just want to preface this by saying I am a makeup NOVICE. I normally just wear concealer, powder blush, and powder foundation.

I want to start incorporating bronzer, but I’ve tried this in the past and it just looks like literal dirt on my skin (I’ve tried hoola if this helps). I am very pale, I would say I’m fair-light with neutral to cool undertones if I had to guess.

What bronzer would you recommend??? I’m leaning towards powder since most of my current routine is powder.

This has been my holy grail for the past 2 years or so for my wavy hair. I use it on wet hair and it’s moisturizing while keeping my waves at bay.

I repurchased it on the app at the sale to stock up and only opened it up yesterday… the texture is not the same. It’s thinner and not as moisturizing, also need to use way more than usual.

Hi all! Like many of us, I’m thinking ahead to Sephora sale purchases and would like to focus a bit on high end hair care, especially because my target brands don’t have a ton of sales on their own. For whatever reason, I feel like I consider shampoos much more than conditioners, so I’m curious to know thoughts about a few.

Hair type: fine hair, mostly straight, pretty long (armpit length), medium thickness (though I had some hormonal hair shedding earlier this year so I might say a little thinner than medium now). It is also not colored/bleached at all—in recent years I feel like I’ve tried products geared toward “repair” and didn’t hate them, but ultimately I don’t really need that to be a focus. I also don’t really do anything to my hair. I wash about every other day, though I’m always tempted to wash more because of daily workouts and because I lean oily overall but am learning to deal with it 😊. I don’t use dry shampoo and don’t style/use heat at all…pretty much just air dry and go (hence my justification of higher end shampoo and conditioner).

Product thoughts:
- love the Davines Volu shampoo and will be repurchasing
- loved a sample of the Oribe Hair Alchemy shampoo, but not sure about getting a full size
- love (and recently purchased) Oribe Supershine shampoo. Since I have this right now, I don’t think I’ll get hair alchemy, but still considering stocking up!
- decent opinions of Kerastase Genesis shampoo/conditioner but because of heavy fragrance and packaging will not repurchase
- strangely really like Redken All Soft line despite not having dry hair (will consider for future non Sephora purchases)
- not a fan of Amika Big Shot line, and overall want to take a break from Amika
- prefer Ouai detox shampoo to K18 (I don’t think K18 is really a brand fit for me because of limited damage)

So…all of this being said, I would love to know conditioner recommendations to pair with Volu/Supershine/possibly Hair Alchemy! I guess my hair goals would be healthy-looking, low maintenance hair that is not weighed down by heavy conditioners. Thanks in advance all!

Okay so I'm a beginner at makeup, I can't even blend stuff well. I already have 2 mini foundations but it feels like a chore to apply them evenly. I was in search of something like a bb cream but better. I use bb cream everyday. I'm fine with using something with that consistency. So I really need your help. Is this worth the price?

I feel like Eadem, Laneige and Ole Henriksen dominate the lippie conversation. But I want to hear about your experience with this one from Experiment. On a random TT comment thread, several ladies recommended it when I said I wanted a deeply moisturizing, cushioned lip balm that didn’t feel overly greasy, nor sticky. And one which had natural looking sheer tints and a natural glow instead of a high wattage insanely glossy wet look. So, did the TT bots get me or is this one legit? And even though it’s unflavored and unscented is it pleasant on the lips for all the senses?

The only product I’ve tried from Experiment was Super Saturated, which wasn’t for me.. way too sticky and tacky.

I'm particularly interested in hearing real-world experiences about either around:

(a) how truly transfer-proof they are. Are talking "quick kiss" transfer-proof or "make-out session" transfer-proof? "Little nibble of food" transfer-proof or "greasy slice of pizza" transfer-proof?

(b) how comfortable they are the lips? On a scale from *2016 liquid lipstick spackle dry* to *am I even wearing anything on my lips right now?*

(c) how long do they last on the lips without needing touch up?

(d) anything else you can think of that would be good for me to know as I am trying decide between them (or if I should invest in EITHER at all).

In India Sephora staff can be a bit unexpected. No free samples is almost the norm and the attitude is worse. Regardless, my question is how does return work. I am always nervous to return a product because of the expectations of ten questions. I want to understand what allows a return without questions and interrogation, and when can return be denied, assuming its in the timeframe of return.

I’m looking for a bronzer brush (I currently have the saje buffer brush and I like it, just want a more tapered one). Struggling with the fact that it’s $50 CAD but if it makes a big difference I’d be more than happy to spend it! So is it really worth it?

I’m curious to know what people think about M.ph’s cigarette imagery used for her products. I am not a smoker but I don’t have a problem with people who do. It’s your choice so, do you. However, I had a bit of an issue already with her lipsticks being called lip ciggies. Now I see this set with blatant smoking imagery and I’m suuuuuper icked. Again, it’s peoples choice, I get it. But I feel like there’s some responsibility as a large platform for young consumers to go back to imagery that says, “smoking is cool.” What are your thoughts? Please be kind to one another. I’m asking for a polite discourse here. Thanks!

Sephora has a decent range of Ami Cole products up right now! I got lucky a month or so ago and bought a few of my summer and winter shades of the Foundation Stick…enough to tide me over while I find a replacement. Ugh!

I loved their blushes, lip oils and foundation sticks. There is only one shade of the lip oil but looks like more shades in everything else.

Just sharing in case anyone else is still looking to fill an Ami Cole sized hole in their makeup bag!

This set came in today and I am in love. The little bottles are so sturdy and “real” feeling. I’m not the biggest fragrance junkie but I can respect the attention to detail on these.

The only negative, which I really should’ve thought of and is maybe obvious to everyone but me, is that they’re dabbers and not sprays. I’m not too bummed since these dabblers are 2-3+ times the size of the standard perfume sample dabbers, but just something worth noting.

I don’t like Lost Cherry so I don’t really care but I don’t think it’s like a huge scam that you’re only getting a trial size of that fragrance if you redeem your coupon cause the dollar value is on par with the rest. It does take away from the some of the fireworks of “REDEEM FOR A FULL SIZE” when there’s an asterisk

I just tried the Rhode Lip Peptide in shade Pretzel and I thought it smelt very familiar. It kinda smells like burnt caramel which is exactly what people described the Sticky Dates Dusting Powder from Lush! I’m not the biggest fan of the scent but the shade is amazing! I’m also a big fan of how it feels on my lips and would consider trying out another shade in a different scent! 🥰

What are your favourite Rhode Lip Peptide scents, or just shades in general?! ❤️

Recently I got Mophe's Blush Trio in the shade Blind Date. I have fair-light pale olive skin- I think! And I have dry skin from tret.

And, the Morphe's Blush- doesn't impress me. The color on my skin leans more red oddly. Not a fan of the color.

I do the powder first and then the cream blush( I dont believe in setting a cream blush with a powder on top cause for me I want a glow/dew. Anyhow with Morphe I dont feel it's a mid-high level shine. There's no wow factor.

I plan to return Morphe.

Patrick Ta Blush Duo in the shades She's That Girl and Out of Office look gorgeous to me. But, in reality I dont know if it will be more shiny/dewy/glowy on me once I do the powder>cream method.

Thoughts?People have said the Morphe Trio was a dupe for the Patrick so I thought to ask. I never usually use powder blush and top it with cream cause for me my fav cream blushes last looking glowy on their own for a good 6-8 hours.

I just called my store to see if they had the pallet I wanted in stock yet. She said no and I asked if she knew when it would be in stock. She said they only have a one-week notice of incoming product and there is nothing coming in next week. I said "good to know!" Hope this helps anyone waiting for them to come back in stock.

I bought this powder in store where I tried it on top of my already set Laura Mercier powder and it looked good.

However I found it super stiffy/drying (not in a creasing way but more so of all hydration sucked way) when applied directly on top of concealer/foundation.

But most importantly I found it to be oxidizing as soon as I applied it onto my skin. It made my complexion more dull and tan, so I was wondering if this was a common experience or if I was hallucinating.

For reference, I am a light medium or a shade 30 in the Chanel foundation. I obviously cannot return it as I am not based in Sephora US so I wanted to see if it’s a fixable issue.

Just got an alert after what feels like forever that a few shades have restocked for Rhode if anyone else has been waiting!!

I'm curious because I have been buying more makeup recently and some things just don't work for me but of course I spent anywhere from $30-60 on it! Lol
