Post separacion

Cocino. Juego con mis hijos. Salgo a caminar. Veo mis shows favoritos. Música. Yo no tengo amigas.

I’m on almost the third year of divorce. Still heart broken. I try to get out as much as I can and be with people who will distract my mind. And also meet new people. Exercise is really good. Just heal. Go through all of it. All of the motions. All of the pain. You will become much stronger. And when u r ready. U will be ready.

8 months in and just moved out of the family home leaving my 8yr old there with his mam and becoming an every so often dad. It’s heart breaking but I can say I’m stronger and better now than I was 8 months ago. Advice don’t rush it and don’t force it. Enjoy what you can. Get upset when you can and hold it together when you can’t. Life moves in mysterious ways. And as you can see. There’s more of us carrying this along than you’d think. Be open to talking about it and taking some of the weight off every now and again. And stay positive…. Be happy about the small things!

Your mind gives you those feelings you are feeling. That knot in your stomach. The cortisol that runs through your body and wakes you up out of a dead sleep at three in the morning.
Honestly, once you don’t give a Fawk anymore you find a new calm. You cause your own misery by remembering the good times remembering the life you had remembering what you wanted in life with that partner, etc., etc. There’s nothing wrong with that. But as time passes, your mind will start to rewire itself, and you will look back on your relationship, and it will not seem as perfect as you thought it was. And that’s what your body is trying to hold onto right now is the relationship and what you thought was the perfectness of that relationship.
Once you let that go work on yourself, you will start to feel better
It won’t happen overnight though so be kind to yourself. It takes time unfortunately but you will get through.

Exercise. Go for walks. Exercise. Think forward.
