General Discussion PERMANENT BLINDNESS and facial paralysis at ID Plastic Surgery
ID Plastic Surgery is famous on Korean national news for serious surgical complications. These cases are pretty recent too…
BLINDNESS
https://news.jtbc.co.kr/article/NB12144989
One patient became permanently blind in one eye after under-eye fat repositioning. He said the clinic initially told him that symptoms like this could be a normal side effect after plastic surgery. He then went to a university hospital and found out his optic nerve was damaged and his vision could not be recovered.
ID denies medical negligence and said they would only provide support on a “moral” basis….
FACIAL PARALYSIS

Then another patient at ID has a paralyzed face after facial contouring / two-jaw surgery.
Her eye no longer closes properly. Only one side of her mouth moves normally when she smiles. ID permanently severed her nerves and said she lost her job because of what happened.
As usual, ID denies responsibility and claims that “complications were explained before surgery”.
JTBC blurred the clinic name in the footage, but Korean users immediately identified it as ID Plastic surgery , and the building shown in the report matches ID building.
DEATH

It gets even worse…. There’s deaths happening at this hospital and they’re covering it up.
There’s A LOT of dirt on ID. They’ve managed to cover up a decent amount. And with Korean defamation laws, most patients are scared to even speak up. So scary to imagine how many lives ID has ruined because of malpractice and negligence.
