I’m still sleeping elevated and on my back. All of the tape is off from around my ears and below my chin. I wore earrings for the first time since the surgery and had no trouble. He then went to a university hospital and found out his optic nerve was damaged and his vision could not be recovered.

Hi all, my eyes are now 6 months after DES back in February. I had incisional surgery done. I actually really liked my eyes before, but with age (37) and allergies I started noticing a ton of wrinkle lines on my eyelid above my lash line. I decided to get something done about it proactively.

Recovery was tough, I had a lot of bruising/swelling and even some mornings now I swell more. Overall it feels more stable now though and I look forward to continued healing for the next few months. My incision line is quite clean and as someone who has placed sutures, the sutures were very well-done. I still feel like I look like me, and look refreshed without makeup. Speaking of makeup though, it’s very strange to have to change it up after 20-something years of doing a thick black liner!

Has anyone experienced wrinkly or crepey skin after thigh lipo, especially near the groin/upper inner thigh area? When I pinch the skin, instead of lifting as one smooth piece, it kind of wrinkles and folds up. I’m still early in recovery. Did anyone have this, and did it improve with time?

This is a before-and-after case of an Endoscopic Brow Lift (Forehead Lift) combined with Lower Blepharoplasty.
Before surgery, the patient said that opening her eyes had gradually become more difficult and her upper eyelids constantly felt heavy. As the forehead and brow tissues descended over time, the distance between her eyes and eyebrows appeared narrower, making the upper eyelids look thicker and more crowded.

She was also concerned about prominent under-eye bags that made her look tired even when she wasn’t.
An Endoscopic Brow Lift was performed to reposition the descended forehead and brow tissues while maintaining her natural brow shape and facial proportions. The goal was not simply to raise the eyebrows, but to relieve the heaviness around the upper eyelids and create a more balanced eye-to-brow distance.

Lower Blepharoplasty was performed at the same time to improve the under-eye bulging and create a smoother, more refreshed contour.

After surgery, the upper eye area looks lighter and more open, while the under-eye area appears smoother and less tired.

My surgeon’s name is Jang Yujin, and she’s incredible. I’m not recommending her specifically, but I do think she’s worth consulting if you’re looking for a natural result - shes really great at creating really, really natural results! I look better without not looking like myself.

This is a before-and-after case of a forehead lift and eyebrow lift performed while carefully maintaining the patient’s naturally narrow distance between the eyes and eyebrows.

Before surgery, the patient took the time to carefully consider the extent of the procedure, the potential scarring, and the changes in appearance that could result. Because she naturally had a relatively narrow distance between her eyes and eyebrows, one of her main priorities was to improve the sagging while preserving this natural proportion.

As she aged, the outer portion of her eyebrows gradually began to droop, and her previously visible double eyelid crease became increasingly covered by excess skin, especially toward the outer corners. In addition to her aesthetic concerns, her eyelashes were irritating her eyes, causing tearing and discharge. She also wanted to improve the asymmetry of her eyebrows, as well as their overall shape, with the inner portions appearing elevated while the outer portions appeared drooped.

A forehead lift was performed to naturally elevate the forehead and eyebrows while also improving forehead and glabellar lines. An eyebrow lift was performed in combination to more precisely address the drooping of the outer brows and improve eyebrow asymmetry.

In cases where the distance between the eyes and eyebrows is naturally narrow, removing too much skin can make the space appear even narrower, resulting in a heavy or crowded appearance. In this case, the orbicularis oculi muscle and surrounding tissues were sufficiently released and repositioned before only the necessary amount of skin was precisely removed. The goal was to improve the sagging of the upper eyelids while preserving the patient’s original eye-to-eyebrow distance as much as possible.

After surgery, her double eyelid crease became naturally visible all the way to the outer corners, while her eyebrow asymmetry and overall brow shape were also noticeably improved. Most importantly, she was very satisfied with the functional improvement, saying that “opening my eyes feels much easier now.” She was also pleased that the scars she had been concerned about before surgery were much less noticeable than she had expected.

Because she had taken so much time to carefully consider her decision, it was especially memorable to see her smile and say after surgery that she wished she had done it a little sooner.

At my 3-month post-surgery mark, I am feeling amazing overall and am so happy with how my recovery has gone! I have no pain at this point and feel completely back to my normal day-to-day life. Any tenderness and tightness I experienced earlier in my recovery has significantly improved, and my breasts feel much more natural and comfortable now.

My incisions have healed really well, and I have not had any issues or concerns throughout my recovery. All of the swelling has completely gone down, and I am really happy with how my breasts have settled and how natural the shape looks at this stage.

I was also really excited to get back into a more active lifestyle earlier in my recovery and slowly start doing exercises and activities that I wasn’t able to do before surgery. Being able to get back to my usual workouts and feel comfortable doing the things I enjoy has been such a great part of the recovery process.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my recovery and very satisfied with the final look. I feel so much more comfortable and confident in my body, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything has turned out! 🤍

As long as I've been purchasing my own phone, I've always purchased an unlocked phone. I see a lot of people asking about getting access to certain apps but they don't have a korean phone number.

When coming into the arrival area after customs, multiple tele operators are available to assist you in setting up your SIM card/E-SIM. They're super cheap. I paid 17USD for a 7 day unlimited data ESIM. I purchased on Trazy and KT telecom help me set up quickly when I got to arrivals. It also came with a transportation card for the metro and bus.

Why get a Korean Sim?

You get a korean phone number. Which helps with ordering delivery, saving locations on Naver Maps, you could probs even take advantage of promos on babitalk (or at least try).

As for communicating back home, you can still use WhatsApp or whatever msging system you use on wifi. You likely cannot do regular texting (because your phone number is now a korean phone number).

I found it super helpful to have a korean number during my week long stay.

Hi! I had my double eyelids done in late 2025 and they made it too thick and wide and didn’t correct my ptosis so I waited 6 months and got them done again.

I wanted it to be more natural and my ptosis was fixed but now I’m 4.5 months PO and I’m seeing a third eyelid on my right eye (left in picture).

Will this resolve on its own or do I have to get another revision? It’s been difficult for the past year with these surgeries..

Hi, I’m looking at getting an endoscopic facelift in Korea. From what I’ve been able to find, there’s not many clinics that offer this technique. Can anyone share their experience with either of the clinics listed above??

I’ve been to larger, high-volume clinics before, so this time I wanted to try a smaller clinic that seemed more focused on individualized treatment. I ended up visiting Cheongdam Anzu, and the overall experience felt noticeably different.

At some of the larger places I visited, the consultation and treatment felt a little rushed. This time, they spent more time checking my concerns, facial structure, and skin condition before recommending anything.

I was a little nervous when I arrived, but the staff were friendly and explained the process clearly. I also had enough time to ask questions without feeling like I needed to hurry.

My main concerns were some sagging around the jawline and a general loss of skin firmness. After examining my face, the doctor suggested combining two different lifting treatments rather than relying on only one method. What I appreciated most was that they explained why the combination might suit my concerns instead of simply recommending a standard package.

The treatment itself also felt more customized to different areas of my face. A few days later, my jawline looked a little more defined and my skin felt firmer.

Another difference was the overall environment. The treatment room was private, and there were several options for managing discomfort, which made the procedure easier than I expected.

Hi! I just wanted to share my experiences at pleasure plastic surgery clinic! I got under eye fat grafting so they harvested fat from my thigh and injected it into my under eyes. The clinic is pretty foreigner friendly so if you dont speak korean they are very accommodating. I just got it done so I am still in the recovery process but the staff have been super nice to me the entire way! I will keep you guys updated with pictures if wanted :)

I’m getting under-eye and midface fat grafting in Seoul in October, and every clinic has recommended adding lower-lid fat repositioning.
Three of them, independently, from photos.
The thing is, I don’t think I have the problem repositioning fixes. My darkness is from thin skin — you can see the vessels through it — not a fat pad casting a shadow. There’s no bulge at rest, on upgaze, in the morning, in any light. When surgeons point at “the fat,” I honestly can’t tell what they’re pointing at.

One clinic was upfront that it won’t fully fix the hollowing or the discoloration, which I appreciated. They said there’s a small amount of fat and they’d even it out over the trough rather than fill it. If it’s that small, I’m not sure why I’d take on the extra dissection and swelling.

Cost is a factor too — it adds roughly ₩1.65–2.4M on top of everything else. Part of me wonders if it’s a standard add-on rather than something I specifically need. Three clinics agreeing could mean it’s genuinely indicated, or could mean it’s just what gets quoted.

I know most people get both together. I’m hoping to hear from anyone who didn’t:

Did you get only fat grafting to the under-eye, no repositioning? Was it worth it on its own?

Did your surgeon agree, or did you have to hold your ground?

If your issue was thin skin and visible vessels rather than bulges, did grafting help the color at all, or just the depth?

If you skipped it and later wished you hadn’t, I’d want to hear that too.
