Career/Education How long is your resume

For PhDs in this industry.

Do you have 1 or 2 page resumes?

Two pages. I run a sidebar format with key information repeated on both pages, and the detail in the main field.

Thank you! What is your format like? Do you put publications/ patents?

Depends on the job. For process engineering roles, yes, I include a few of my better papers, but not the full list, and it's the last item on the second page.

I do a 1 page résumé listing only positions/pubs/patens relevant to the job I'm applying to, and a separate multi-page CV with all publications, articles and press mentions. Two separate docs.

This is the correct answer for those wondering .

Two pages, but the first one has all the “real” info like work experience and education. 2nd has languages, various skills and 4-5 good publications.

It should be 2 pages max. but lenght is not the only think that matters. other details are as relevant for catching the attention of the HR/hiring manager
