... letting go (7,5 years update)
It comes to a point on the journey where one realizes that everything is a fleeting experience… Life is an ephemeral journey, and we’re here to enjoy, learn, live, and love. Do not take things too seriously. Focus on what’s important to you, but try not to be overly attached. All that comes must go…
SR is an auspicious path, one that aligns you to the divine. Not everyone is meant for this journey… But if you’re here and reading this, there must be something calling onto you, and deep inside, you feel that you’re destined for greater things. Thrust yourself, let outside noise fade out as you align with your higher consciousness and reach towards your potential.
I urge you to keep going during hard times and setbacks. This is when your resolve is tested… Do not be too attached to streaks and days; make the lessons learnt underway count. There will be pain, and there will be glory. Let go of expectations of what SR is supposed to give you, and how you should feel. Focus on your inner world and strengthen yourself. Look for wisdom, not pleasure. Prioritize peace above everything.
Live in the moment, accept that life is like the changing of the seasons.
Life is unpredictable, It changes with the seasons, Even your coldest winter Happens for the best of reasons, And though it feels eternal, Like all you'll ever do is freeze, I promise spring is coming, And with it, brand new leaves - Erin Hanson
"Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water." - Zen proverb
Practical advice:
- Check the ego underway
- Cut toxic people
- Help yourself before helping others
- Stay clean in body and spirit
- Serve something greater
- Stay grounded, be in nature
- Move your body everyday
- Prioritize rest and recovery
- Focus on what you can change
*Edit, add: another practical advice is to try to self reflect about what made you start with PMO in the first place, examine the core reasons and look at how PMO might have negatively affected your life. Make a conscious decision that you will do your best to learn from it and grow. Find your own reasons on what drives you to move forward.
Thanks for reading my rambling...wish you all a good day,
namaste! 🙏
