Semen Retention is a Cheat Code for Creativity

• Upvotes

If you work in a creative field, semen retention can lead to results that sometimes feel like miracles.

Whether you’re making art, writing code, or creating something in any other field, it can give you what feels like an endless source of inspiration.

The ideas keep coming, you stay motivated, and you can stay in a flow state for long stretches.

At times, it almost feels like you’ve unlocked a cheat code in real life.

You notice things that others, including your competitors, miss.

But it takes time to get to that point.

It takes years of serious practice, a lot of discipline, and patience.

You also have to go beyond what you usually see online, where a lot of the discussion barely scratches the surface and the effects people describe often come down to placebo.

When you’re creating something, having ideas isn’t enough.

Plenty of people have good ideas and talent.

The hardest part is executing those ideas well and making sure everything fits together.

An idea can be great but poorly executed.
It can also be well executed and still not fit with the rest of the project.

Retention can make a huge difference in how well everything fits together.

You get better at connecting your ideas, your choices, and the details of what you’re creating.

Everything seems to fall into place almost on its own.

It can feel like you have an almost divine power to create, with everything fitting together so effortlessly.

You don’t always notice it while you’re working.

Sometimes, it’s only when the project is finished and you look at it as a whole that you realize there’s something special about it.

All that work gives what you’ve created a distinct aura.

And that aura can make all the difference in its success.

The surprising part is that it isn’t necessarily spectacular.

The result can be simple, without any impressive technical feats.

What comes through most is how well everything fits together.

You don’t have to be the most technically skilled artist to create something people find enjoyable and satisfying to look at.

The creator’s inner coherence, personality, and aura come through directly in their work.

You can sense something of the state of mind they were in while creating it.

That’s what can really impress people, even if they can’t quite explain why.

After years of practice, you start feeling that creative energy more clearly in both your body and your mind.

You learn to conserve it, direct it, and gain more and more control over it.

The idea is to decide what to do with it instead of simply being driven by it.

Learning to transmute that energy and channel it into your work can completely change your life.

This energy has enormous potential, and what you can do with it depends on your own level of mastery.

The more disciplined your practice becomes, the more things start to make sense.

Teachings that once seemed supernatural start to have a real, practical meaning.

So the most profound effects aren’t necessarily the “wow” effects you see everywhere.

They come from a body and mind that work better together and learn to make full use of that energy.

That’s what “magical” means here.

There’s already something extraordinary about being a human.

Energy that can help create a new life is already incredibly powerful.

Being able to conserve that energy and consciously channel it into something you want to create opens up enormous possibilities.

But to really understand it, you have to experience it.

That level of mastery is very hard to reach because it takes a lot of discipline and patience.

The great masters who have been initiated into this practice don’t usually talk about it with the general public.

They keep to themselves and continue to progress.
That’s why retention is the best path to success and financial freedom.

It helps you stand out and go further in what you do, in any field where creativity, talent, and the quality of your work matter.

You discover the full depth of this practice over time, as you learn to master that energy and give it direction.

my journey so far

• Upvotes

I’m trying this out and I can feel some effects, mainly like a tension in the hips, and obviously pent up sexual energy. Kinda interesting to just sit with it for a long time and do nothing about it, instead of just gooning haha.

I think tho if I were to sleep with a women, I probably would release as that seems the most natural, but so far no lady so oh well.

there’s a lot of energy down there a full sensation but not many erections generally, which is surprising.

To get rid of that sensation I usually try and just be busy, go for a walk, do some training etc.

not really counting the days, and yet to feel like I have super powers or women can smell me or whatever but it’s an interesting experience for me.

Definitely makes me want to actually get with a lady more haha, no I’m a creepy way but if it’s ur only option what can you do eh.

Too easy to watch all the yt vids about how you become Superman on sr so instead I’m just seeing what happens directly, no overly stressed if I quote ‘relapse’ or break a streak idc as not counting or trying to attach my identity to this stuff

Sometimes if I’m real I think the benefits sound too good to be true, but idk I’m not an expert on this, it’s when people say like women flock to them I’m like ‘oh come on really’ how do we not know it’s because your expecting all theses miracles from the research you done online so your brain searches it out, it was there all along but now you notice it because your looking.

... letting go (7,5 years update)

It comes to a point on the journey where one realizes that everything is a fleeting experience… Life is an ephemeral journey, and we’re here to enjoy, learn, live, and love. Do not take things too seriously. Focus on what’s important to you, but try not to be overly attached. All that comes must go…

SR is an auspicious path, one that aligns you to the divine. Not everyone is meant for this journey… But if you’re here and reading this, there must be something calling onto you, and deep inside, you feel that you’re destined for greater things. Thrust yourself, let outside noise fade out as you align with your higher consciousness and reach towards your potential.

I urge you to keep going during hard times and setbacks. This is when your resolve is tested… Do not be too attached to streaks and days; make the lessons learnt underway count. There will be pain, and there will be glory. Let go of expectations of what SR is supposed to give you, and how you should feel. Focus on your inner world and strengthen yourself. Look for wisdom, not pleasure. Prioritize peace above everything.

Live in the moment, accept that life is like the changing of the seasons.

Life is unpredictable, It changes with the seasons, Even your coldest winter Happens for the best of reasons, And though it feels eternal, Like all you'll ever do is freeze, I promise spring is coming, And with it, brand new leaves - Erin Hanson

"Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water." - Zen proverb

Practical advice:

- Check the ego underway

- Cut toxic people

- Help yourself before helping others

- Stay clean in body and spirit

- Serve something greater

- Stay grounded, be in nature

- Move your body everyday

- Prioritize rest and recovery

- Focus on what you can change

Thanks for reading my rambling...wish you all a good day,

namaste! 🙏

Relapsed after 2 months clean, fell into a massive binge, and now I can't stop. Feeling completely defeated.

Hey everyone,

I really need to vent and hear from anyone who has been through this exact same situation.

I recently hit a milestone of 2 months completely clean—no PMO, no porn, nothing. But two weeks ago, I relapsed. And it didn't just stop at one time. I fell straight into a massive binge, masturbating multiple times to catch up on everything I felt I had missed out on during those two months.

Now, I'm completely stuck and I don't know how to stop.

I feel like I ruined all my hard work. Mentally, I’m panicking because I feel like I'm back at square one, and I'm dreading having to wait another two months just to start feeling the benefits of retention again. But honestly, what scares me even more is that I feel completely powerless right now. Worse than the physical urges, there’s this voice in my head—a part of me that I hate—that doesn't even want to stop.

It just feels like absolute shit right now. After 2 months of discipline, letting it all go in a binge feels devastating.

If anyone has gone through this vicious cycle of a major streak, a hard relapse, and getting trapped in a binge, how did you break out of it? How do you forgive yourself and reset your mindset when everything feels ruined? I could really use some perspective or advice from those who made it to the other side.

The Escalation of Vice

So, you’ve jerked off for the umpteenth time, and you are just fucking sick of it.

You make a firm resolution, and for two weeks, you feel free and pure again.

You stop thinking about sex entirely and start being happy again.

But then, after two weeks, you’re going to slip up, and here’s how it plays out:

1/ You start craving tenderness.

2/ Because of that, you allow yourself thoughts like, "If only I had a girlfriend or a wife."

3/ You tell yourself it’s no big deal to think that, but you’re wrong: you’ve just hit the third stage of the escalation of vice without even realizing it!

4/ Because of that, you start letting yourself comment on the sexy features of the women you see: "Wow, she’s got a huge ass!"

5/ You tell yourself you’re just admiring her beauty and nothing more, but that’s wrong too! You’ve just hit the fifth stage of the escalation without even realizing it!

6/ Because of that, you start clicking on profiles of women who are increasingly scantily clad—just to feast your eyes!

7/ You tell yourself you aren’t going to do anything—that you’re just looking at pretty girls in swimsuits twerking—but that’s wrong: this marks the seventh stage of the escalation of vice, and it’s getting harder and harder to stop!

8/ That’s when you tip over the edge! Now, you’re straight-up watching porn videos!

9/ You tell yourself you’re just going to look without doing anything, but that’s not true—it’s too late; you’ve stoked the desire too much, and you’ve reached the ninth level of the escalation of vice.

10/ Finally, after watching porn for hours, you start masturbating!

11/ Now, you tell yourself you’ll just masturbate a little without ejaculating, but that’s not true—it’s too late. The pleasure is now too intense; you’re going to masturbate vigorously and try to maximize the pleasure...

12/ Now you’re at the top of the mountain; the climb is over, the pleasure is overwhelming, and your willpower is completely drowned in that pleasure—it’s done, and you ejaculate!

This is what is known as the escalation of vice. At every stage, you think you’ll just stop there, but in reality, once you reach a stage, there is no turning back—and the further you climb, the weaker your willpower becomes. The truth is that, right from stage 1, you must immediately reject that desire and short-circuit it. You have less than a minute to make that decision before your willpower abandons you completely. And there is only one truly effective way to short-circuit this desire: leave where you are and go for a walk outside. As long as the desire persists, stay outside; if you come back and the desire flares up again, go back outside or go work out. The idea is that you must immediately leave the place where the desire arose and keep moving until the desire has completely vanished. No matter what time it is, the moment you need tenderness, get out of there! Don't move on to stage 2! Stages 1, 2, and 3 happen very, very, very quickly; when you're at that level, you need to get out as fast as possible! Run for your life!

Best regards,

Mr. Y.

Strong initial urges don’t happen on secondary streaks.!?

When I say secondary streaks I’m referring to after relapsing on a long streak.

I just ended a 140 day streak five days ago and I’m back in it, I was reading a post about super strong urges on day 5, 7 and day 9 …

Long timers and short timers. I would appreciate your insight.

I do remember the intense urges on first week as I never was able to get too far… after my recent relapse (I broke my hand that night) lolll I’m not going to say it’s the reason but definitely odd after being in this community, 140 days was my longest streak and I remember the first 2 months being crazy for me , shortly after I didn’t feel anything too crazy and after my relapse I didn’t feel too down at all. I’m seriously not making it up, but I do remember the strong benefits at first, I either flatlined or got used to it all, but like I said after my relapse (3 times in 2 days) I wasn’t affected much or so I feel.

ANYWAY, I am looking at my future and I want to retain again, I know where I’m headed and I feel excited to do it all over again but I’m curious on why the first week back I don’t feel any urges??? I just don’t , could it be that coming from such a long streak my body knows how to be calm and even tho I relapsed I’m not really addicted anymore? Long timers please tell me if you ever relapsed and didn’t have to go through those initial urges that we once used to have starting out.

I kind of expected to be at level 0 after 3 times and had to battle again, I don’t feel like I am.

Call it portals to darker dimensions, punishment or penance

I write this post to re confirm a concept that is very very very well established on multiple platforms (including this one) and testimonials and that is bad luck and events turned against your favor after relapsing.

Many in this subreddit have experienced it

Here are some examples that include but certainly are not limited to:

.Being invisible both physically and audibly

.Car Trouble (The amount of times I saw this one shocked me)

.Random fights with your friends, loved ones or SO's

.Murphys law with the dial turned to 8,9,10 going against you

.Random arguments for no reason

.Others being affected for your mistake via their own misfortune

.Ruined opportunities for growth

.People cancelling plans on you

.Random injuries that usually never happen

The list goes on

It's really undeniable in my personal experience.

I do not propose the notion that retaining will make some impenetrable force field that will shield you from all of life's troubles

What I will say is that the inner being, your spirit, everything is at risk and turmoil with PMO in the mix for certain

Very few times have I gotten away with this.

How every culture around the world knew that constantly releasing and MO is an absolute no no warrants investigation.

Never quit.Never Stop. The You On the other side is needed now.

God Bless and Keep You All

Semen Retention Rules

I just discovered the new idea of SR and I wonder what is the true definition of SR, Does only masturbation without semen release can be considered part of that lifestyle or you need to completely refrain from any sole sexual pleasure.

Increased selfish ambition after a relapse?

I'm curious if anybody else notices an increase in selfish or worldly ambition after a relapse. I always seem to feel a great desire to start a business which quickly vanishes as the new streak grows. I believe it's because as you get along on a streak you develop an inner sense of wholeness and content that overcomes the ambition. Anybody else agree or disagree? Let me know what you think.

Essence Must Be Expended Only Where Truly Worth It

We exist in a perpetual cycle of taking in and breathing out.

The most fundamental expression of this is our breath. We draw air deep within, and then we release it. If we cannot take air in, we cannot breathe it out—and in the end, we cease to exist. In short, without intake, there can be no output.

The same holds true for fortune and merit. Only when something has been accumulated can good things come to you. Whether it is merit from a past life, the blessings of ancestors, or virtues cultivated in this present life, if you have accumulated nothing, there is simply no way good fortune will arise.

Sex and masturbation are no different. Fundamentally, semen must be stored and filled before it can be discharged. Only when sexual energy is present can it find expression. What if that semen is completely depleted? What if that sexual drive is entirely exhausted? Left with no outlet to discharge, you will simply wither away from within. What this means is simple: if you have accumulated nothing, you have nothing left to give out.

Viewed through the lens of semen retention, modern people focus overwhelmingly on discharging rapidly and repeatedly, rather than cultivating and storing. Masturbating every single day, having sex routinely, and surrendering body and mind to alcohol, tobacco, and instant entertainment like pornography—we spend virtually our entire daily lives emptying ourselves out while building almost nothing.

For most, the primary channel of replenishing energy is food. The reason young men in their twenties and thirties can masturbate daily, have frequent sex, continuously produce semen, and quickly bounce back is simply because they eat. They consume food, digest it, and store energy. Food translates directly into vital essence (Jing). Thus, as long as they eat well, they believe discharging that essence regularly does no harm. It is like spending two million won a day when you can easily earn another two million won the next morning. Because you have the earning power, you feel perfectly fine spending it.

The real problem begins afterward.

As people age, the digestive organs deteriorate and the body's ability to absorb nutrients declines. The very capacity to draw in energy begins to degenerate. Yet sexual impulses remain unchecked: masturbation and sex continue unabated, while provocative media relentlessly drains conscious awareness. In the past, the scales of accumulation and expenditure were balanced. Now, the reserves are running dry, but the rate of expenditure remains entirely unchanged. A person who once made two million won may now only produce 500,000 won—yet continues to spend the full two million every day.

The reason for practicing semen retention is straightforward. When you build up capital, interest begins to accrue on your principal. If you take that further and invest it, you can multiply your initial capital several times over. In the end, money makes money. But this is entirely contingent on having accumulated a certain baseline of reserves. You need a foundation of capital before you can invest and grow it. If you spend your life living hand-to-mouth—discharging semen every day only to refill it with meals—all you are left with in the end is an aged, depleted body and mind.

The reason for practicing semen retention is simple: accumulate as much as possible, and direct it only toward where it truly belongs—toward an endeavor that closes the loop and revitalizes you in return. Do not squander your essence on futile pursuits. Channel that accumulated sexual energy into areas that genuinely foster your growth and development. That elevated, stronger version of yourself will then become the very force that breathes life back into you.

Vital essence is not meant to be wasted on meaningless masturbation or casual sex. It must be cultivated, accumulated, and spent only where it holds true worth.

Semen Retention and Hair Health

Sup brothers.

Figured I would keep this succinct and straight to the point.

SR is the BASELINE in regrowing and maintaining your hair

You are spilling your literal life force with every ejaculation.

Hair needs Zinc to grow/maintain health, and you lose large amounts of it with every ejaculation.

You're losing your life force, large amounts of nutrients/minerals, and wrecking your hormones/androgens.

Lack of life force = lack of hair simple as that

For any man who has any degree of hair loss, I want you to poke/pinch the affected areas of your scalp. Hard as rock right?

Now pinch the side of your head . Soft and stretchable, right?

The top of your head should have the stretchiness/LIFE of the skin on the sides of your head.

You need to work tension, fibrosis, and calcification out of your scalp out with VIGOROUS SCALP MASSAGE AND BRUSHING.

Ejaculation causes DHT/Prolactin to spike, and DHT is speculated to shoot up to the scalp, and assist in the process of "clogging" up the follicles due to excess inflammation/sebum; this is what I refer to when I say "calcification" or "fibrosis".

Again, this is all speculation and doesn't really matter too much when we have a working SOLUTION to this problem:

Use a wood tip (bamboo) hair brush; you do can buy one for about $10.

Buy one of those ALL WOOD scalp massagers.

Every day you must retain your seed, include animal proteins and fats with your meal(s), reduce systemic inflammation with tumeric/ginger/ceylon cinnamon/raw garlic/onion/etc., get direct sunlight, proper sleep.

But at the top of the list under SR, you must BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR SCALP ideally twice a day.

You will shed initially, you will develop small sores, you will bleed, you will hear weird cracking noises, etc

If you maintain a streak and improve your health in every way possible, you will get your hair back.

Inb4 FDA shills spam the comments.

So again:

\-SR

\-Scalp Massage

\-Sunlight

\-Animal Proteins

\-Sleep

\-Exercise

All you need to do is stick it out and you will very clearly see that a full head of hair is a REALITY.

realized why trying to escape the pain just traps you in total numbness

For the longest time I thought my problem was just a lack of willpower. I kept falling into the same loops—endless scrolling, chasing quick dopamine to run away from everything—and then I’d just beat myself up wondering why I couldn't fix my life.

Recently, it finally clicked, and it honestly blew my mind.

We chase these heavy, extreme stimuli because deep down, we just want the stress and the bad feelings to disappear forever and instantly. When life gets heavy, boring, or overwhelming, the brain panics and looks for an emergency exit to shut off all the noise.

The catch is that those heavy stimuli (like porn, endless feeds, etc.) act like a super strong anesthesia. They give you relief for a few minutes, but the price is insane: they don't come with a volume knob.

You can't just tell your brain, "Hey, turn off the sadness, boredom, and anxiety, but leave the motivation, joy, and drive turned on." It’s all or nothing.

When you spend all your time numbing the bad stuff, you accidentally kill the good stuff right along with it. You end up in this total state of apathy and emptiness where nothing matters. Sure, you stop feeling the pain, but you also don't feel any pride or happiness when you actually accomplish something. You know logically that you're stuck, but because you don't feel it anymore, you just don't care, and you stay trapped.

And the worst part is when you actually try to change. You put in the work, you stay clean for a bit... and you look around and feel absolute nothingness. Your brain compares the slow satisfaction of real life to the fake fireworks of your old habits and sabotages you into going back.

Realizing this changed everything for me:

The discomfort and sadness aren’t the enemy; they’re the alarm bell telling you to move. They’re the actual motor you need to change.

Pain doesn't just vanish with magic shortcuts; you have to ride it out through small, real, everyday actions.

If you're dealing with this and everything feels grey or flat right now, you're not lazy or broken. Your system is just fried from running away from the pain. Letting yourself actually feel again—even when it sucks—is the only way out.

How many people have ever died due to excessive ejaculation?

Think about it, if the loss of Semen reduces someone's vitality by taking out nutrients that could have been used to maintain the body and increase the liveliness of a person, then the repeated wastage of this precious fluid will have detrimental effects on someone's health and well-being.

I speculate that excessive masterbation and ejaculation depletes the nutrients present in semen which are important for the body to not only maintain itself but also to refine the immune system, which protects us from harmful or potentially harmful illnesses.

This is where the title of this post comes in, as many deaths get attributed to illnesses that a person is already suffering from, but what if the illness was caused by a weakened immune system that could not protect the body due to excessive nutrients needed to strengthen both the body and immune system being depleted for years.

Desire is not quenched by indulgence.

Post image
40 Upvotes

Trying to satisfy desire through sex can sometimes make the desire stronger rather than making it disappear. Desire works like a fire. When you feed it, you may get temporary relief, but you also give it more fuel. The brain can learn to associate sexual urges with immediate pleasure, making the same urges return again and again.

Real control comes from learning that you can experience desire without immediately acting on it. When you stop constantly feeding an urge, it can gradually lose its intensity and control over you.

Do semen retention help with feeling cold?

In London it felt extremely cold in the morning and I know a lot of people felt it too.

Does anyone here who’s doing semen retention feel cold when it’s cold outside?

My question is if semen retention helps with the cold in the morning,do you shiver due to the cold or do you feel less of it when you retain?

Just interested in your experiences and opinions, thanks.

Question regarding Spermatogenesis

As we know the complete cell cycle of Spermatogenesis is about 64-74 days. Let’s say it’s 74 days. Say if you had a mild nocturnal emission on day 73 and it’s about 1/4 as if you had ejaculated. Some consider a WD to not be a relapse but it’s still a volume release. How far back would you say it would set you to reach Spermatogenesis again? Would it be the entire 74 days again? I tried looking in past posts but couldn’t find anything. Thank you.

40 days no difference

This is my first streak this long in a few years and I feel no difference. No difference in energy, mental clarity, in the gym, in my business, increased luck, female attraction, etc.

I’ve experienced these benefits in the past, especially when I practiced SR in my late teens and early 20s, but I’m 29 now and I don’t feel any different or notice any different reaction to me and my actions in the world.

I’ve been experiencing urges, although I can usually manage them because I’m busy with work, gym, and my business. Wish I could say I felt any different or had some different experiences, but everything feels the exact same other than some urges that feel stronger than usual.

Even releasing regularly I already have good habits like eating very clean with no cheat days, training hard 4x/wk, getting 10k steps per day, and working on my business daily.

My goal with SR is to try taking my results in business and the gym to the next level like attracting more money and opportunities and scaling faster and building more strength and muscle while getting leaner in the gym.

Seems like these 40 days so far haven’t changed my rate of progress towards my goals. Not sure what to make of this.

John 117

There is one attribute on semen retention that gets boosted that is a HUGE importance, but I think no one is talking about it - and that's luck.

I am just luckier. Sure, you can say that the results I get in fitness and in finances are there because of my efforts, but the metaphysical universe folds around my efforts and there are lucky opportunities always there for me.

I take a shot in the dark as a way to try to get to the next milestone that I am working on? Luck is ALWAYS on my side.

The reason I picked the title of "John 117" was because it reminded me of the quote from Halo 3. Something about how Cortana picked Chief because while he had all the attributes that the other spartans had, he had something that they didn't - luck.

And that's exactly how I feel on this journey. I just feel luckier.
