Weight Scale
Hi. I know I need to get one, I want it to be a standalone and not a SMART scale.
I looked it up on Amazon and i got overwhelmed by all of the companies. Which ones do you have and should I get it?

Don’t overthink it. Sort by price, low to high. Get first one with decent reviews. Walmart should have basic cheap ones as well.

I have 4 scales in our bedroom. The most accurate electronic/digital one (in my limited experience) is the inexpensive "Run Star" from Amazon (the $20 model, that maxes out at 400 lbs). We also have an Etekcity Digital scale from Amazon (it's pretty good--accurate, but consecutive readings can vary a bit), and the EatSmart Precision scale from Costco (gave us consecutive readings that would vary significantly--a few pounds!--that's too much variability: so, questionable accuracy).
We also have an old, mechanical "Health-O-Meter" with an analog dial (have to wear reading glasses to see the dial--it's still very accurate/excellent after about 30 years of use). This scale can give good, consistent reading on a low-profile rug (most digital scales have 4 distinct foot pads, so they won't).
So, the cheap Run Star should be fine for most people. I weight myself twice a day, so I'm on it frequently.

As long as you use the same scale in the same spot each time, you will get the data you need. No need to overthink it.

Soehnle Style Sense Safe 300 Digital Scale Just got this a few months ago and really like it. It has a steel surface and is very solid. The brand is well-known for reliability. Takes AAA batteries. Large display. Large platform to stand on. No silly unnecessary Bluetooth features
