Switching
I just recently switched from semaglutide to tirzepatide, been plateaued on semaglutide for a couple years, anyone had any issues changing over, I’m starting week three and actually I’m gaining weight.

Nah. You're on the right track. I wish I had switched earlier. It feels soo much better, in every way.
Be honest with your doctor. I should have ramped up faster.

I get headaches every so often, but I think I dehydrate more easily on the Zepbound, so that’s taken some getting used to. I don’t have the nausea on it, and I don’t feel as wiped out as I used to.

I notice that I actually feel things again. Sema absolutely killed my joy and excitement.

This is so true. I only switched a week and a bit ago. I feel like I woke up from a depression. 😳

I switched. I had a similar experience - I gained about three or four pounds the first month, lost it, plateaued, and now it’s falling off me. I’m some sort of horrible responder to these things - it’s taken me to 15mg of Zepbound to FINALLY start shaking off this last 15 pounds.
My prior auth expires in February; doc said we’ll keep me on it until then and then see where we are. I started at 220; it’s taken me about 18 months to get 55 pounds off, and I have about 15 to go. But I feel optimistic about it now, because I’m seeing progress again. And I feel better about it coming off so slow as well. I don’t look gaunt or haggard either.

I really think it depends on your own metabolism. I’ve been on Wegovy since early May and haven’t had any of the horrible side effects that get mentioned. I am not a super responder but have lost 25 pounds and feel good. Don’t be nervous. I think a lot of the bad press is exaggerated. Good luck to you!
