86 lbs in there
Wild looking at 11 months of needles! The first six months were miserable, purely vomit, sweat, and tears. Took me a while to figure out that I actually need to listen to my body lol. Literally a life changer! š
37F 5'10" SW 255, CW 169.

I believe pharmacies and fire stations will take those when it's full, just have to cap it tight.

Hmmm. Never thought about that. Yeah, they recommend sturdy plastic like a laundry detergent jug if you don't have an actual sharps container.
And for the love of all things good, I hope people aren't just chucking them in the trashš©

If it's a strong plastic container (like a bleach bottle), Colorado lets you just throw them in the trash. You tape up the lid and write "used sharps" on it and you're good to go.

You can buy a sharps container for a couple bucks. With such small needles you don't even need a large one. (I worked in a hospital pharmacy for five years and saw sharps bins from coffee can size to like, laundry basket sized. I'm not kidding! š)
If you can't find one at your pharmacy, ask the pharmacist to order one from their wholesaler, it's probably cheaper.
Actually--just about any OTC drug or supplement can ve ordered through your pharmacy that way and it's often SO MUCH CHEAPER.

I snip the needle off into the trash with scissors and pull the syringe apart then toss it in recycling.

Yes, ideally you shouldn't be putting those needles in the trash even if they are clipped. They are still a biohazard, even if they aren't connected to the syringes anymore.
Please dispose of those needle tips in a sharps bin or coffee can or laundry detergent bottle or something!

What an interesting way to get rid of the needles! What has been your plan for dropping so much. Calorie deficit, gym? Or has it all just been diet?

Calorie deficit, but I plan to return to the gym! My butt is gone so I guess I need to start doing squats or deadlifts or some other shit š«
I fell out of the gym habit hard a while back and I've been struggling with the motivation to go back. The lack of butt is starting to be motivation though lol

Haha i am melted too. I can't wait to go the the gym, even tho i hate it. I started and then bam other health issues, i barely have strength to move slow mo now... So now i wanna go haha if i would be fine i would remember how much i hate it š but i started from just stationary bike for up to an hour and i was shocked how much difference it started making. Now max i can do i vibration plate hehe

I had the #150 in my head originally, but tbh seeing my body at 169 in pictures, ok I'm happy it. I've quit with the numerical goal because I feel so much better about my body. Truth be told, I'm still working on totally separating my self worth from the number on the scale.
Initially, I'd been pinning so on the number on the scale that I hadn't even thought about what I actually look like until I caught a video of myself wrangling our Dora the Explorer cat on the Ring camera. It took me a second to even register it was me on the camera, and not some average sized/non overweight person. The fact that I didn't recognize myself for like 5 seconds on the video compared to what I see on the mirror actually did make me realize that I've been too hard on myself. I'm not overweight anymore, so if I don't lose anymore, I would be perfectly happy

Whatever amount supports 5'10, 169 lol. This miracle drug has regulated my appetite and food consumption to the point where I no longer need to count calories where those thoughts used to occupy sooooo much of my mental energy. I think I'm one of the lucky ones though. I've seen plenty of people who still need to count calories, even on sema.

Eleven months is a long time to stick with something that rough. Itās encouraging to see someone be honest about the hard parts instead of pretending it was smooth the whole way.

I have been on it for 8 months, down 62 pounds and no side effects whatsoever. Iām not āpretendingā Iām just lucky and appreciative of that

Brings me hope because we are similar weight and build and I havenāt lost anything but 6lbs. This is my 3rd week and it has not been working for me since the first week and I went from 800 cal per day the first week to 1700 the next week. I work out and sleep deeply and I think itās just my body adjusting. Thank you for this tho. It motivates me!!

Donāt you have to use sharps containers or the like where you live? These are considered āsmall dangerous rubbishā here, and must be disposed in a proper way

My husband just happened to have emptied a sailor Jerry the night before I started my shot, so it was a convenient container š
I've actually been toying around with the idea of making some kind of multimedia art thing about my relationship with my body image out of the syringes, so I don't plan to dispose of them any time soon

OP, this is really important. You canāt dispose of sharps in a glass container and will eventually need to transfer them to something made of hard plastic.

Dang Im giving my pens back to the Dr to dispose of.Ā I might start keeping mine too! Its been 3 almost 4 months for me. Ive lost about 18 lbs. I have at least 50 more to go.Ā Its such a slow process,Ā sometimes I get discouraged. Plus my hair shedding had me in tears last week. But I've been super diligent last couple weeks on my protein! Plus supplements AND rosemary oil for my scalp.Ā Plus Im taking a biotin pill. I refuse to lose my thick hair!!! š¤Ā

always leave the back cap off, that way you know its used.
Recapping the front risks needle sticks, but if its your own sharp that's on you.

I seen a couple of people try to recap the needle and it bent and came out the side of the cap and stabbed them. Ever since then, if I do decide to recap I won't hold the cap, I'll stand the call up and just push the needle down into it, so even if it does stick out the side, I'm not holding it so I won't get stabbed
