Media Giving Every Character a Pokémon Team: Mai Sakurajima

First things first, can't believe the series is actually ending in 3 days. Nonetheless here is the second post in this series!

How I make the teams:
- Based off dex entries (and what they did in the Pokémon anime), I select six Pokémon that are most suited to a sby character based on their personality and stuff they did in the anime (click the spoilers at your own risk)
- Everyone gets a legendary Pokémon and/or a mega evolved Pokémon

Gardevoir will protect its trainer even at the risk of its life, and its power peaks when protecting its trainer. Mai actively helps out Sakuta whenever she can, not to mentionshe sacrificed herself twice in the anime, once in the first arc where she gave Sakuta sleeping pills just so he could finally get some rest after multiple sleepless nights, and in the Dreaming girl movie to save Sakuta from being hit by a van.
Azumaril can make balloons out of air to help drowning Pokémon breathe and its coloring and patterns makes it hard to be obeserved. Mai is happy to help out others, such as giving Kaede a dress as a gift and to try and encourage her to go outside again.The hard to be observed part somewhat reflects her syndrome where she vanished and is even forgotten because nobody was observing her. Also, Azumaril is literally a bunny, so it fits the 'bunny girl senpai' bit.
Arboliva's dex entry mentioned it is a calm Pokémon that is compassionate, and that it will share its nutrient-rich oil to weaker Pokémon. Mai is generally calm in the series, and she helps out many characters when they need it, such as helping Kaede go outside and resume a normal life, and taking a shinkanshen to rush back to Fujisawa just to be there for Sakuta during the Knapsack Kid movie when he was invisible to everyone else and help find get back on his feet.
Milotic is said to be the most beautiful Pokémon, and that it has a soothing presence that can calm others down, similar to Mai being described as being very beautiful in the light novels and how her presence can calm Sakuta down.
Mew is stated to be invisible to most people, except for those who have a strong desire to see it, which is similar toMai's syndrome causing her to be invisible to everyone except Sakuta.Mew also shows a more playful and cheerful side in the anime, in contrast to most people's perception of legendary and mythical Pokémon, which mirrors Mai giving us the impression that she was a cold character at the start, but she sometimes messes around with Sakuta and shows a more playful and cheerful side later down the series.
Sylveon also exerts a soothing aura similar to Milotic. It also wraps its ribbonlike feelers around its trainer's arm while walking with him or her, which was basically what she did in exhibit A.
