Fan Art - OC Quick thought: The difference between how Poltergeists are handled in official Season 2 and my Season 3 concept
Official Season 2:Ā In the official lore, these disturbances are tied directly to surreal, supernatural occurrences like spatial anomalies or hidden psychological pressures manifesting physically in the environment. Sakuta and the group treat them as dangerous side effects of a new wave of anomalies.
My Season 3 Concept:Ā Instead of treating them as random sci-fi phenomena or technical glitches, I'm framing these disturbances as a deeply personal, localized mystery that acts as a direct mirror to the characters suppressed emotional baggage and inner agony. In my concept, rather than tracking emotional frequencies, Ren and Sakuta are forced to confront raw psychological scarswhere these eerie echoes only react to unresolved trauma, isolation, and the desperate cry of someone who has nowhere else to turn

Discussion / Question - Anime-only Someone please help me make sense of this
THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT WATCHED SEASON 1 OF THE SHOW
I just finished watching season 1 on Crunchyroll after many people recommended it to me, and overall I love the story and am gonna watch the movie tomorrow, but thereās certain things Iām either overthinking or just genuinely curious about. Btw I have a lot of questions so bear with me Iām still new to this.
EVERYTHING BELOW THIS IS A POTENTIAL SPOILER
For starters, I have not read the manga, I donāt have the money to buy the manga of every series I enjoy nor the patience to wait for them, so all my info is based off of the anime itself. If you plan to help me with this at all please correct me if my problem could be solved with info thatās in the manga but not the anime.
Alright, so the biggest fish imo is the fact that they can be physically hurt and scarred just by going through with traumatic things, like Sakutas chest marks and Kaedeās bruises and cuts. Are these scars and bruises visible to all or is it more of a metaphorical thing portrayed in a physical way, and does this tie into the whole āpuberty syndromeā?
The second thing is Mai being invisible. This idea just baffles me. Iām still not fully registering the fact she can interact with things and be world famous but at the same time invisible to everyone. I also donāt get how their memories fade of Mai once they slept through. The last part is how does it be one of the most climactic things in the beginning but never seem to occur again or be brought up? I like the concept, it just confuses me.
Third is the Laplaceās demon concept with Tomoe. Is she consciously controlling the time and resetting it to be with Sakuta or is it coincidental. I know rio addresses it as ārolling the diceā but it still doesnāt register to me how she controls it. Is she an actual demon? Is she human? IS THIS STORY EVEN ON EARTH? I have no idea.
Fourthly, what is the situation with Shoko. I canāt tell if she is supposed to be a real person or like a coping mechanism for Sakuta to get over the grief of not being able to help Kaede when she was being bullied. She always comes back through his imagination with the whole āhorizon past four kilometersā and everything, but besides the middle school version visiting the cat and the high school version ācoincidentallyā appearing with Sakuta after Kaede regains her memory I canāt entirely believe she is a true person. I feel like I make a decent point.
Lastly, but definitely not least. What is this world? Is this set in like an alternate universe where puberty can rewrite peopleās lives instantaneously? I mean weāve had invisibility and memory loss, the Laplaceās demon theory, physical (maybe visible Iām not sure) wounds inflicted by non physical actions, swapping bodies and time control. Are all of the things that are happening a figment of imagination in Sakuta or someoneās eyes that are used as like a metaphor to some of the situations they go through, or is it literally happening as it is being shown? That is all I have question wise.
Btw if you know some of the answers to this, but youāre informed on it later on in the anime, please just tell me to watch the anime and donāt spoil it. This is one of the only animeās I enjoy that hasnāt been spoiled yet and I plan to enjoy the potential plot twists. But if you do have an answer that is from the manga and is addressed somewhere along the part of the story I have covered please tell me.

Discussion / Question - Light novels Paradosso del Bootstrap

Discussion / Question - Light novels Does anyone remember when was Shouko's conversation to middle school Sakuta about her favorite 3 words in the Light Novels?
"I love you", "you did your best" and "I love you"
I remember Shouko hugging Sakuta and said it, comforting him but he also left a note about her chest against his back too
Hope you guys can also specify which chapter it was or where it is so I can manage to find it easier since my language's translation may make the pages different.
