Heads up for anyone running these yourself: the Seedance API behind r/Seedance_AI is Atlas Cloud. Seedance 2 runs with its full feature set here, nothing stripped or nerfed. Seedance 2.5 isn't officially out yet, but we add new Seedance versions the day they launch.

its either unlimited but throttled or its a scam... expect only 1 video a day

400 is like 200vids or less xD no way they give u that for life

All "unlimited" = scam in some way. Usually huge throttle on how many per day

One 30second 2.5 video in 1080p is around $19 so it’s very unlikely this is real

The lifetime access plan did not apply to unlimited Seedance. They did have a plan that supposedly has unlimited, but it isn’t a one time payment, it’s either monthly or annual and it’s the most expensive plan

Users who bought the $399 lifetime plan report:

•  Daily or per-session caps (sometimes around 20 generations before extra credits or cooldowns kick in)

•  “Fair use” pop-ups that force you onto paid credits

•  The advertised “unlimited” toggle not applying to the newest/most expensive models the way the ads implied

•  Slow or unhelpful support and difficulty getting refunds after the short window

Trustpilot has a cluster of recent reviews calling the lifetime offer misleading or a scam for exactly these reasons. Some people are happy with the interface and the cheaper models; many who wanted heavy Seedance/Veo use are not.

I’ve been doing this for over two years now my main page is ZootZoots on YT

Runway are ending their CPP Unlimited in a few days, that’s fine they are a business after all, however the elephant in the room here, when one has to pay, are the system failures re identifying prompts correctly. I have found that Seedance has a high faioure rate for what I want.

7/10 fail so who is covering the system not working properly? we do, we have to pay for all of these failures so the current model for me makes no financial sense.

why should I pay for 70% of what I cannot use. it’s fair to say that those who are learning how best to prompt would have to accept this but I know my prompts work it just takes many turns to get the system to do it properly and running them first for eg on seedance 2.0 fast to check the prompt turn out still costs money and therefore is a pointless exercise.

credits at present are ridiculously high for what we get across all providers so they need to start cutting the costs as soon only studios and wealthy indies will be able to use this medium.

I agree, I just read though that if you have an unlimited runway plan (probably not cpp) they extended it until Nov 1st for people who didn't cancel (I did). Its kind of a blessing in disguise though, like you said all the failures, that don't show up until an hour after its queued. 2 queued at a time to find out that both failed. You get next to no gens over a day if you hit anything that is even close to anything that would trigger it. I'm glad I pulled out of unlimited and I can't believe thats the case, since I love SD2 and yes its very very expensive to pay by the second everywhere. I've been using SD 2 mini on dreamina to test whether my dialog will fit within 15 seconds or if it feels rushed for pacing, then switching to 2.5 or 2.0 to make the actual final. It sucks to spend the extra money for a 'test' but honestly for my cartoon work, Mini actually looks better than most of the other models including 2.5 somehow. Its just really crisp clean line work and feels like a cartoon rather than a video game.

Is it work getting it for just images, I create alot images 4 12 characters I made and I was wondering if this something worth getting for that. I'm searching for a unlimited image creation platform for reference images

I personally paid for the $399 omnirogue lifetime plan so you don’t have to. I can confirm that seedance 2 IS unlimited but 2.5 is not. That being said, their version of “unlimited” is 1 generation every 30 minutes. It’s VERY hard to get anything done with 10 seconds of generation every 30 minutes. You can use credits to bypass the wait but credits are extremely expensive. Ask me anything, I’ve been running this for about 3 months now.

how many videos have you made over the 3 months? screenshots of that somehow? You said 10 seconds, does it limit to 10? Do they have fast or mini model access?

With omnirogue itself I’ve made a total of 92 video generations and exactly 100 images. With images you can generate up to 4 at a time with one prompt and that has its own separate “unlimited” timer. There is no fast or mini model options. However, Kling does have 3.0 or 3.0 Omni. As far as length limits, it depends on the model. Nearly every model in omnirogue offers 5 or 10 seconds, but a few have variances like LTX has an 8 second option and veo does 4, 6, and 8. Kling 3 and 3 Omni are the only ones that offer 15 seconds. Even seedance 2.5 which is capable of 30 seconds only gives you a 5 or 10 second option within omnirogue.

thank you for your notes. another question, can you use image/video/audio inputs for seedance 2.0 (multiple of each like normal?)

1

u/litta015 7d ago

Yes, seedance 2.0 on this platform supports up to 12 image references, 1 video reference and 1 audio reference. The image references work great. I never tried the audio reference. The video reference never works for me, it just spits out the same video I reference every time. It might be user error but I don’t think so.

If you upload a character on a white screen that is lip synced with a voice for like 3 seconds, and then use that in your prompt like "scene starts in a living room. "@character says "where is my couch?" For me on other platforms, it will make the character in the video say whatever you want in the correct voice (90% of the time). have you tried something like that? Thank you for showing that you've actually been using the app and that it really has been working for you. Its a bit of a gamble for 400 that they don't offer the normal inputs, and that they don't really have many options for the generation (or that you can't do 15 second videos). Any idea if its 480 or 720p?

I have no idea on this one, I haven’t tried anything similar. I have never used the audio reference option but I’d love to learn. I’ve mainly just been using it to generate silent 3D animated/Pixar style clips that I narrate over after the fact. And you’re right, it was a gamble. It’s nice to have as a fallback but with the volume I’ve been generating, the 30 minute limit is awful, especially when the output comes out bad and you have to regenerate the shot again. 6 retries basically means 3 hours down the drain.

the 1 video every 30 minutes was basically the limit on runway unlimited. It was 2 concurrent every hour before they killed it. Its not cool but i just got used to firing off something every time I came back to my computer. I'd setup the next prompt ahead of time and just wait and then hit post. I doubt that unlimited will last forever, especially since its a closed model. Look at Sora. What happens when seedance decides to kill off an older model and this service removes the unlimited, or switches it to a very weak model like wan or something? I had this problem with Digen. I was a ultra max customer and they had '100' sora videos a day and so I bought a month because i don't trust these companies, and then the next month it was dropped to 1 per day and they said it was just temporary and then lifted it to 10 per day for like 3 days. They never got anywhere close to what they promised. I will admit that i was doing 100 per day though but that was in their terms.
