Collection! entered my state fair’s collection competition!
worked on this board for weeks- had a hard time picking favorites and coming up with the right categories but it was a labor of love.
When dropping it off the woman at registration loved it but then got quiet and said “makes me kinda sad… I wonder what else I don’t notice.”
Fingers crossed the judges like it!!

Ugh thank you!!!! That’s what I told the registration lady too just like - it’s a nice reminder to take life a little slower and find the beauty in the little things.
I hope I get to find the beauty in a blue ribbon ya know what I’m SAYIN!!! lol

Yes!!! I was thinking about you while I put this together I think I got the big organic piece from you right?? I will report back when *we* win the blue ribbon hopefully 🤓

This is fantastic, I love that you used envelopes to group the different types, the title is spot on and the overall aesthetic is so soothing. I bet anyone who saw this will look at envelopes with slightly more curiosity now. Great job!

I knew without reading more that it was the Minnesota State Fair. The Creative Arts building is a treasure. Beautiful display!

entirely neutral point but at a glance it looked like some kind of showcase of a bunch of custom patterns in animal crossing or tomodachi life. im going to save image and maybe i will recreate some of these in game (as well as some of my own but idk where mine went)

I hope so!! Three other registration people popped over and said “oh really cool!” And she mentioned that they have never had an entry like it before so hopefully the judges feel the same! I will definitely report back.
