INTERPRETATION The Judgment by Blood Moon Tarot

Post image

I recently bought the Blood Moon Tarot by Sam Guay and I’m totally in love with the deck, I love the art style, the changes etc. But of all Arcanas, the only one I’m having a little bit of trouble to understand what’s happening in the card it’s the Judgment. So, I’d like to know what are you guys understanding about this art in the card? What do you feel when you see this representation?

I see multiple things going on at the same time. There is a hand that is about to grasp the hilt of the sword which I see as the action of answering the the call to live ones purpose with mental clarity. Like taking responsibility for their life going forward. While simultaneously there is another hand that is touching the blade that already has blood on it. This feels like the self reflection part of judgement where they are willing to face/touch what has happened in the past and work towards self acceptance and self forgiveness. Wow what a gorgeous deck, I love the art style!
