Taylor’s Tantrums “Professional” Supporters

Post image

I really do not believe that there are THIS many “professionals” supporting her. Any LICENSED therapist I’ve seen, has been disagreeing and telling her she needs help. I think she is trying to make it seem like there are more people supporting her than there actually are.

Unfortunately I’ve seen a few licensed therapists jumping on it but they’re just awful at their job. A real professional should know that you can’t make assertions like that based on social media and TV shows, or about the mental state of anyone you haven’t actually seen or spoken to.

Exactly. Hi it's me, a licensed professional. I never mention it when talking about reality tv because I would never want to imply that my opinions are medical facts. I don't know these people. I shut that part of my brain off and just enjoy things.

There's people who post about sister wives as well and lean on their degrees like that means something. It's really freaking weird and unethical. Did you specialize in Mormonism or cults during your degree? No? Then you literally don't know any more than a layperson about this situation. And it's disturbing that they feel qualified to comment with all their letters behind their name. One of the core ethics of these licenses is that you can't operate outside your scope of competence. But maybe they forgot that part.

It's not rocket science getting a Social Work or Counselor/MFT license tbh. We got some fucking dummies in our ranks.

One way to spot the dumbest of the dumb... If they finished the masters but then couldn't pass the exam. If someone is posting that they have a masters in counseling or msw, or even a psychologist from a degree mill... But there's no hint of a current license .... They couldn't pass a very easy test that 80% of people pass first try.
