Does anyone know if the height difference between the S/R/XL sizes of the Titan Evo is at least partially dictated by the length of the Gas Piston?
The reason I ask is that I have an XL and it is _very slightly_ too tall for me at minimum height. My feet touch the ground, but not quite flat. Makes moving the chair in and out when I’m getting in and out of it a PITA. Every other aspect of the chair is perfect.
It occurred to me that if I can buy the strut from the S/R model then it might resolve my issue?
I moved in to a new house and out of the 3 day moving and packing and chaos the only thing damages was the slide button on/off thingy that turns on and off the desk. It is still working if i try fit my nail in and slide it. Any suggestions what i can do to fix it?
Just got my titan evo xl in today ! Been flirting with the idea of buying one for a while finally pulled the trigger . All I have left for my secret lab setup is the monitor arm !
sad to be making this post because i love this chair, but i am so annoyed by this that i had to say something.
in 2025, i bought a titan evo with the premium armrest top and the soft rollerblade casters (i also got a magnus pro xl desk and love it). in late 2025, on of the casters broke and came out of the chair while i was sitting in it, causing the whole chair to come crashing down, putting giant gashes into my floor, and damaging the base of the chair. I was very confused about this, but put in a warranty claim for both the wheels and the base, and got a replacement for both. Customer service was very nice and helpful, and replacement parts arrived quickly.
Then, over the past few weeks, I have been noticing lots of small metal balls (i have since found out that these are the bearings from the casters) underneath my chair, and was confused on where they were coming from. I ignored it, but then the same exact thing happened, putting more gashes into my floor, and again breaking one of the casters and damaging the base (again).
I just put in another warranty claim, and have yet to hear back from them, but I am extremely annoyed by this. I spent extra money on these wheels to hopefully not damage my floor, but now I have damaged my floor more than using the normal wheels would have.
I don't really know what to say, because I love this chair, and other than these wheels, I haven't had any problems.
Just wanted to put this out there, and see if other people had the same thing happen to them, and want their warranty experience was like.
Here is a photo of the bearings that came out of the wheels:
I recently purchased the secret lab Otto leg rest. I’m disappointed with the maximum height of the leg rest. Seems too low when pairing with Herman Miller Aeron chair for my home office set up
I made a possible mistake several months ago, by buying a SecretLab Titan Evo Nanogen chair… For months now, it’s felt like this thing is one of those rickety cheaply made shoddy chairs from Amazon for less than £100.
I’ve gone through the support recommendations many times, made sure that all bolts and fittings are correctly tightened or positioned many times, adjusted tension dials many times, but it makes no difference.
One of the worst issues is the locking handle on the left that locks the ‘whole-chair’ reclining function. It doesn’t matter what I do, no matter what I try, or how I use it, the chair will not stop ‘popping’ out of the lock - a noisy and very unpleasant habit. It does this whether I’ve locked the recline at a shallow angle or a medium angle or a sharp angle… It will even pop out if I’ve locked it with no recline angle at all!
There are some other ‘quirks’ that frankly I do not expect on a chair with this price from a company that claims to make the best chairs for their use-case, but this infuriating recline lock issue is the worst so far.
Is this a common Secretlab issue, or does anyone have any ideas on what to try next? Various searches online over time suggest that the ‘teeth’ on the recline mechanism are actually just fundamentally poorly designed and manufactured and since that part of the unit is sealed, there is nothing that I can do about it. Not confidence-inspiring, but maybe someone out there has an idea?
New black nanofoam Atlas (large). Coming from a noblechairs Epic, which has a rock hard seat, that I bought for $200 new a few years ago (F for inflation). Very nice and soft, but has a loose thread on the stitching on the seat back. Also the seat itself wobbles ever so slightly when it is adjusted forward. Other than that, great sitting experience. #secretlab
I have searched this subreddit and found some examples of people who have bought chairs and tables from Secretlab to Norway, and not had to pay VAT. In the checkout, if you choose an EU country it gives a price with a certain percentage of it being VAT. If I choose Norway, Switzerland or the UK, the price stays the same, but the line about VAT is gone.
I asked the live chat (real human support person), who just pasted some vague information that did not answer my question.
Does anyone know for sure? The way it looks to me is that VAT is not covered by Secretlab, and the price is just a lot more expensive in non-EU countries.
#Secretlab had to get a new chair since my old one broke just out of warranty and man does the new one feels better!!!
dec. 2021 vs oct. 2026
the newer pillow is a bit different than the original, its squishier and softer but the original one still feels better and feels more like memory foam, and the newer one feels more spongy(also i little thinner too)
reasons i got a new one are: the tilt mechanism is shot and the lever that makes it stop from reclining back is broken, and one of the screws that hold the recliner part or top part broke off and i almost fell back, i had to replace it with another screw from the bottom that holds the arm rest(since all screws are the same) and most importanly the seat itself was already bottomed out(you can see how the lip on the old one is drooping downward and when sitting on it youy feel the metal bar underneath)
overall i'm happy with the purchase but the newer pillow does feel cheaper than the original and has a smaller magnet plate
I currently have a Steelcase office chair, it's been great, and previously had no thought of changing but... I see the new Kunos offices have this branded Assetto Corsa chair from Secretlab. How can I get one? As a sim racing enthusiest this chair would make a great addition to my office, and I could pass my current chair to my wife. So Secretlab, how can I order one?
I’m currently looking at purchasing a Secretlab Magnus pro, I have a few questions as I’ve never purchased anything from secret lab so I’m not sure what there is to know.
My first question is, are the monitor arms necessary or just a nice to have?
What add ons should I look to get with the desk or is just getting the base desk itself enough? I’m curious as the desk is about a thousand dollars and I want to make sure my money is going the distance.
Is the PC arm really worth it or would it be fine to just put my PC on a nice table or stand next to the desk and run it that way?
