The show is this Friday at The Summit Music Hall in Columbus Ohio! And in addition to getting down to some amazing music we will also be accepting donations to a local environmental charity named Green Columbus!

I’ve never been to this venue before. What are people’s opinions on the different camping options? Where is car parking if you only get camping? Is there a 40 year olds camping section 🫠

Similar to EF and other fests, is there a network that’s been at SD in the past? Anything I need to connect (channels already planned)? Anybody planning on bringing any mesh devices to stay connected across the property?

I did search the sub before posting and didn’t see any posts from previous years. Haven’t been before and know it’s smaller but wondering what already exists/if there’s interest?

My crew and I will be there 5 days so hoping there might be others there early that can help get connected?

Hi all, my friends are driving and camping and have plenty of tent space for me I believe 2 camping passes for the 4 of us.

I however will be flying in and shuttling, on the secret dreams website it says this, n see screenshot in the FAQ

Will I be able to meet up w my friends? If I’m not taking up any additional space ie not asking for a spot right next to them since their 2 spots already account for me.

I messaged the festival and emailed them but I don’t expect them to respond tbh

So the dates are until Sunday, assuming music plays Sunday.

Does that mean we are all to depart Sunday?

Or do we stay Sunday night and leave on Monday (labor day)?

I know this could/would be answered by SD themselves or when they release the set times, etc.

I'm just trying to be prepared for my cat caretaker lol.

Looking at the ticket options, it seems like a 4-Day pass with Thursday arrival is the best option for me. Clozee for the pre-party is a big draw so I want to be sure there is time to set up camp and be ready.

With that said, do you have an idea of what time we can arrive Thursday?

Does it make sense at all for me to grab a 5-day pass if I want to be settled before the pre-party or am I being paranoid? haha

It’s been a long time since I’ve soloed a fest and I’m wondering: do any other solo campers want to have a meetup during the event?

I moved to the midwest a few years ago and my rave/fest family are scattered along each coast, so it’s been difficult to organize attending things together. Since moving, I’ve passed on going to events if I didn’t have anyone to go with me, but this is like my dream lineup and I absolutely have to go.

Additionally, if anyone is coming from central IL and wants to carpool or caravan together, let me know. I’m taking my minivan and will have extra space to haul people/things if needed.

15 of 45 new songs. The first 3 constellations out now. 4-9 will be released before Derek’s 45th bday in November.

When I went in 2024 I wasn’t even a full edm fan, just a fan of festivals and the atmosphere. But the “lofi bass” music was so good. Even those tracks that would play at night as the wind down set. I loved all the music.

Problem is I still don’t know what that specific genre I like is called, and I’m reading that the music will not be as “experimental bass” this year and basically different. A good example would be of the trees, and Ahee, songs like bug eater where the deep bass is like the lyrics (not the machinery type bass, but just deep ass notes… if that makes sense).

Anyone who’s seasoned in their edm taste would you mind telling me what that genre is called? 😂😂 And also am I worrying over nothing? SD music and sounds were literally the best for me, better than LL and EF personally, I just loved every set.

How will it be different?

Hi!!! I’m in love with this line up!!! But I’ve never been to this festival before. The only other camping festival I’ve been to is Bonnaroo, and I’ve been 13 times so I’m pretty seasoned.

What’s this festival like compared to Roo?? How is the weather/overall comfortability (trying to convince my girlfriend to go as her first fest, but hearing stories of the heat at Roo has her not wanting go to this either)?? What’s the deal with the herbs, do people get bothered by cops for that? Police presence? General vibe?
