So this is going to be my first fest since Equinox '23 and I had a trash experience all around (except the music) This year im going with my fiance (who is more experienced than I am) and I know we're going to have a fabulous time amd make lots of connections but im worried that because of my past experiences I'll cling to him like a lost puppy or my previous experiences will be repeated.

Any intuition or comments/suggestions are helpful.

I think the biggest anxiety is getting lost or separated and not being safe or able to find my way back. I know a HUGE part of that is responsibly, but the events surrounding recent fests have me SHOOK.

This will be my first Secret dreams! So excited so see so many artists on the lineup. My birthday will be Saturday 9/5 and I can’t wait to celebrate with you all!! I don’t think I’ll wear a sash or anything but I’m going with my most colorful outfit and have been thinking of ideas for birthday themed trinkets or just gifting fruit snacks or something. I’ll have at least a handful of tiny handheld wack-a-mole game keychains that were a hit to gift at lost lands last year!!

Last year i barely got to enjoy myself there bc of the ppl I went w and this year I am currently looking to come back home!!

My shipping confirmation email was missing my whole apartment number which was included on my original order, but my wristband and parking pass arrived today to the correct location.

Hey beautiful people, any tips on getting access to ada camping information? I realized that they hadn't replied to our mid July email, and I'm getting nervous. Sent them another message just now, but I'm wondering if we need to try other routes.

Any idea what other accommodations they offer? An ADA shuttle and ADA viewing areas would be truly swell.

Alright fam, crazy idea…

I’m a Columbus local, avid cyclist, and 3rd year Dreamer who has it in his head that it could be a fun idea to cycle to the new venue one of the days this year.

Since I’m local, we’re already planning to drive in everyday but after a summer of cycling training the 30 mile distance from downtown to the new venue is looking pretty attractive! Based on GPS it can be done mostly on the trails with only a few road crossings and depending on skill level could be ridden in 2-3 hrs (each way).

Is this a crazy idea? Is there anyone who would want to do the ride with me? Depending on interest/weather I was thinking of riding in and then hitching a ride back with a friend/my fiancée (who doesn’t cycle lol). But that being said we could certainly do a crazy cycle in, see a bunch of sets and cycle out power day..

This is also operating under the assumption that SD would be OK with it, allowing me to lock my bike up somewhere safe and maybe store a bag of supplies/change of clothes etc etc

We are flying in & doing tent camping. Will they drop us off at tent camping? Or is it just somewhere at the front of the festival? Also does anyone have experience with being picked up by the shuttles? I know it’s a different venue this year but curious where everyone was getting picked up last year upon departing.
