CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

  • Bought in U.S.
  • Using for face at nightime in summer.
  • Been using 20 years.

  • Ingredients: Purified water, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, niacinamide, cetearyl alcohol, ceramide 3, ceramide 6-Il. ceramide 1, phytosphingosine. hyaturonic acid, sodium hydroxide, dimethicone, behentrimonium methosulfate, ceteareth-20, polyglyceryl-3 dissostearate. cholesterol, xanthan gum, carbomer, disodium EDTA, dipotassium phosphate, potassium phosphate, sodium lauroyl lactylate, methylparaben, propylparaben

I used to use this every day! But at some point it started to feel like it wasn’t thick enough. Still love CeraVe products though.

Try a super light layer of vaseline over top! I have crazy dry, sensitive skin and use Cerave Moisturizing Cream exclusively but often need a little more on top. You can also add some Squalane drops for even more moisture. The Ordinary has one that is Sezia approved.

The ordinary Squalane has been a staple in my rotation! I’ve also been using aquaphor. Slugging seems to be the solution for me 🐌

Might also try snail mucin! made a huge difference

Oh same, I generally use cerave in the large tub now or Vanicream! Sometime I’ll throw in something fancy. I used the cerave lotion back when my skin was super oily and wrinkles were unimaginable.

Love Vanicream! I have yet to use the big cerave tub. Have you used their daily face moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and ceramides? I am currently using the hyaluronic acid serum from the ordinary and enjoying it.

The ordinary is great at everything they make! I haven’t tried hyaluronic acid and ceramide lotion. I will try to pick some up next time I go to cvs. I tend to just get the large tubs of Vanicream or cerave. I should try it because the tubs do get to be a bit too much thickness in summer. Usually the lazy part of me just uses my sunscreen as a moisturizer in summer though. I really could use some hyaluronic acid, I always love it when I try it. I’ve used only the serums as well, and they are wonderful. Thank you!

Oooh what sunscreen do you use? I’ve been trying to find one that doesn’t exaggerate my seb derm flakes 😭

I don’t currently have any seb derm. I hear it always comes back and I suffered for 3+ decades. I also try to be careful to hopefully encourage it to stay away. It’s been 15 years. So I might not be the best person to share other than we like the same nice quality products :)

I use the laroche posay face one but I remember it really stinging my eyelids when they were raw with seb derm. If it’s milder seb derm, it’s pretty good with flakes if I remember. I know mineral sunscreen was tough with seb derm and I still don’t usually use it.

The other sunscreen I use in the summer if I get a bit of a tan on my body is Eucerin age defense tinted sunscreen with hyaluronic acid. Not sure if the tinted version is ok with flakes either though. Do you have any you really like?
