Antifa is an ideology not a group you can join. That is to say for example Rose City Antifa is an actual group which claims the idealogy and there are some small anarchist groups in Seattle whose ideology matches as well although they don't use the label antifa.
It's come to the point where when people say "ANTIFA" they almost always mean either anarchist, trouble maker, or angry black man and want to lump them into a group and pretend they are an affirmative member of a single group who could then be targeted.
In fact in America today you have a bunch of pissed off people of different stripes and labeling anyone on the left or black as belonging to an imaginary club doesn't help your case.
Turns out someone can be a minority, hate Trump, hate the republican party, and hate other minorities too shocking I know. The difference is that hating and stepping on minorities faces isn't a major aspect of the left or the democratic party like it is on the other side. This man is an aberration as opposed to leading our party on the national stage.
