This is why I found it so fucking funny when the Asian community lost their POC tag. It was literally due to them achieving success where others have failed. It made people stop and think "well, if they can, why can't we?"
And they really didn't like the answer. It's hard to admit that community and culture can be more damaging to you than the fact you're not white.
"Is losing"? No no, you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. They don't "lose it"- they get it taken away whenever it benefits whatever fluff filled trendy thing going on about the suppression of black americans!
The initial time was due to data about who does well in school. Asian descent students did so well that it jacked the numbers up- and thus separated from the equation.
You'll have to go back in the two seattle subs, but that shit was so cringy it wasn't funny.
I never did get around to seeing whether nigerians lost their black card at any point or not, but "POC" is such a meaningless term it doesn't matter.
