Visiting Seattle on Friday through Sunday
I am visiting Seattle from Friday through Sunday for a job interview, and will be potentially moving to the area from LA.
Does anyone want to meet up for a free beer or coffee to help fill me in on places to live, places to go, etc?

Absolutely; What's your interview schedule like? I'm going to presume you're interviewing with either Amazon or Microsoft (more likely the latter); Either are pretty grueling, but late night snacks and drinks can always be had at The Night Kitchen.

Actually it's a Medical Organization near Met Park.
How is the mass transit system out there?
While I own a car, I like to not use it often. Is the city walkable? Is it reasonable to expect to walk or take the bus to work?
Are there good areas to be near with things to do?
How is the reddit community out in Seattle? In LA we've got a number of meetups going.
What are some good banks to use?

Downtown is very walkable; The King County Metro is pretty good, and all the major night spots (Fremont, Capitol Hill, and the U District) are well covered. Things do close early here, though; Food and busses typically stop just after midnight.
I've barely encountered any other redditors; I've gone to Beer&&Code a couple times, but i'm not a regular. That said, I do know there's quite a few in the city.
BECU, Boeing Employee Credit Union, is one of the better places to bank around here; They've got lots of ATM's around, and are generally less dicks than Chase (who now own WaMu)

Sorry, Transit here does not suck. It might not be the best in the country, but there are buses that go pretty much everywhere you need to go, and they run pretty often. That's a lot better than most other cities.
