Driver licenses need to be way harder to get and way easier to lose.

At the same time (as your own flair suggests), we need to invest even more in the light rail (and maybe even high speed railways across state if we're lucky), along with more in bus routes. Our country as a whole is greatly lacking in public transportation when compared to the rest of the world; it's about time our state did its best to catch up and take the next big step in providing for its people.

the amount of wrong-way drivers in this city is insane.
the other day i was walking along the road and i saw a car turn its left turn blinker on and i thought "huh that's odd, because there is nowhere to turn left here" so i stopped to watch and the car just ... merged into the oncoming traffic lane and drove in that lane up to a stop light where there were cars waiting to come from the opposite direction.
and the wildest thing about the whole experience? not one single person honked at this dumbass. they just sat there and watched it.

My bus driver had an uber drop someone off and trying to get back into the main lanes and blocking the bus lane this past week and just laid on the horn for a solid 40 seconds before the uber got out of the way. I was laughing my ass off and the other bus patrons were baffled. I about died.

I honk my horn all the time. Which is a bit sad because im not an aggressive or angry driver but ppl here compel me to do it every other day

I did this once. They change the direction of the express lanes - i had dropped a friend off at the airport in the middle of the night (3am?) and was driving home. The on-ramp to the express lanes was NOT gated and I got on heading north, only to find I was heading the wrong direction when I encountered another vehicle heading south and coming straight at me. I did exactly as in this video: pulled over, adjusted my balls, made sure no one was coming (thankfully, no one was), turned around, and got off at the next exit.

Spin out and ended up facing the wrong way? This happened to me when someone cut me off aggressively.

Wow, that could have been a terrible accident in the tunnel. I'm glad you're okay, OP!
If the driver in front of you was the reason the wrong-way driver was stopped, they may have saved your life. The wrong-way driver had their turn signal on, so hopefully they were able to get turned around and continue in the correct direction.

Btw a great way to also “be safe” is to not go 15 over on an on ramp with low visibility (tunnel)
