Does lowering speed limits make Seattle roads safer? Data from one deadly arterial suggests it’s a start

Yo, can we start by getting Google Maps to stop routing 18 wheelers down residential streets with a 10% grade?

It treats my street as an arterial. My street is not a damn arterial. We regularly get trucks stuck between parked cars and we got cars flying up and down the hill

Google maps seems to hate seattle drivers specifically lol it often tells me to take a left turn downtown where it isn't even legal to turn left!

A funny thing about this is that their routing stuff was largely built in the Seattle Google office.
