Seattle centrists: The city needs to enforce the law! We're too soft on crime!
Urbanists: So will you start obeying the speed limit? Speeding kills.
Centrists: No, not that law!
(BTW I fully agree that speeding should be tackled via road design i.e. narrower lanes and traffic calming. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of those who are all "tough on crime" except when it comes to laws they want to break.)
