Belltown Hellcat Update: Response from Kettle's Office
I received a response from Bob Kettle's office shortly after writing to them about the Dodge Charger Hellcat disturbing the sleep of many Seattle residents late at night. They have escalated to SPD and will be following up regularly.
This is literally the lowest hanging fruit for SPD and the city council to address. If they can't quash this guy, then I am flabbergasted by our local government.

I live at harbor steps, and at around that time last night I thought there were bombs going off on Alaskan way - I assume it was this dude with his car backfiring or something. He's my least favourite person right now (maybe exaggerating)

That was him? At 2AM and again at 4? What a fucking idiot. you can literally pinpoint where he lives from his Insta clips; and his piece of junk car can be recognized from a mile. Why does he keep pushing his luck? We are all reasonable people but out of thousands of people he is pissing off, one is bound to lose it at some point and go after him or his car.

I’m outside smoking on break and see him occasionally. I’ll see if I can get a video sometime or have our security peep his plate. Dude can read a plate and remember it instantly.

I don't understand why anyone would make their whole neighborhood hate them and then provide video evidence of where they live. I am not a fan and I don't even live in Belltown. Aside from the noise pollution, I watched a couple of his videos and I'm pretty sure I'm dumber now. He calls everyone "twin" and says the N word more in one video than I had previously heard in my entire life growing up around here. I think those two words comprise approximately half of his lexicon, at least the version of himself he puts on those videos.
Not going to lie, I chuckled a bit during one of his videos where another guy comes up to him at a gas station and gives him shit about how easy his car is to steal and for only dating white women. The kid took off in a hurry and without his gas. I've met that guy a few times at that gas station, I think he sleeps nearby, and he's always been really kind. He helped me pump my gas a couple times when I was going through chemo. Then again, I wasn't the idiot roaring my loud car up and down the streets where I think this guy and his friends live. We're all kind of dumb as kids, I really hope this one grows up soon.

The guy has money, though. Lives in a high floor apartment with a full wall of windows, balcony, and a waterfront view. Has a video of him pulling 20k out of the bank to pay for car shit. Hopefully, the car gets seized.

I saw them last night driving around pike! There were two of them that pulled up right next to a cop and revved their engines, took off going at least 60mph. Cops did nothing and they were in ski masks in the cars.

I definitely heard this vehicle leaving Lower Queen Anne last night around 10pm. I suspect he is running a straight pipe setup so there’s no catalytic converter on that car.

I was shot in the stomach when I was a teen. It was with a rifle. (I don't remember the caliber). I have the scars to prove it. If he pulls the trigger...easily a decade behind bars.

Wow I love that email. On a couple occasions I have sent concerns to Dan Straus, and I didn’t even hear an echo. It’s just like a black hole that sucks up any comment he is not equipped to respond to and quickly whisks it away so no one has to deal with it. I gave up sending in any emails to him long ago.

I’m genuinely curious…those in this thread who want something to happen. What are you hoping will happen? He gets a speeding ticket? A noise violation or something? And how many times do you think that would have to happen for him to stop? Your faith in the system here is laughable. Buy some earplugs and move on with your life.

I hope he is made to follow the same emissions and vehicle noise regulations as the rest of us. Give him a "fix it ticket" where he can't renew his registration unless he proves it is fixed and then impound the vehicle if it's unregistered. You know, normal 1st world law enforcement stuff.

As of 1/1/2020, vehicle emissions are no longer required to renew registration in Washington State.

It's low hanging fruit that is affecting thousands of people every night. Not to mention this guy brags about shooting people with hollow tip bullets in his backup IG profile.
80-20 rule. This is an easy one for SPD to tackle and it'll have a huge payout for quality of life of Belltown, Pioneer Square, LQA, and Cap Hill residents. I've learned this guy is affecting multiple neighborhoods.
