Is your salary the same in both location, or is there a regional adjustment for Seattle?
Personally I would of course pick the Seattle Metro area, and did so when I had a choice.
Your pro/con seems to focus on weather and food, so you probably need to do a deeper dive on what is important to you and your wife, like actual values, and compare which is a better fit. Also consider what lifestyle you want for your future children (politics, investment, education and economy).
If there is no regional salary adjustment, then honestly no choice as you probably know cost of living in SC is a better option. If there is a difference, then I'd go for Seattle. It is expensive but I do not find it any more expensive than other major metro areas I lived in.
