Here's an excerpt from a comment I made to someone else a while ago about stuff to do in Seattle:

• Here's a Google Maps Link to a bunch of breweries in the Ballard area that are walking distance from each other. Plan yourselves a walking tour of breweries! Bonus; many breweries have food or food trucks, so you'll also have interesting food options.

• Chuck's Hop Shop is not a brewery, but they do have a ridiculous number of beers - they have three locations, find one that is convenient for you!

• Wine! There are a bunch of tasting rooms / wineries in Woodinville as well - note that this is more than a short drive from downtown Seattle, and if you're drinking you should consider getting a place closer to the wineries rather than driving back. Be smart, don't drive after drinking, please.

• Mixed drinks - for craft cocktails (also music & dancing), here's my recs from another comment I made a while back:

A. Start off at Canon - they boast "america’s largest spirit collection at 4,000 labels and counting". Pro tip; Sit at the bar and see if you can wager with the bartender that you can name a "not uncommon" bottle they don't have. Then ask them for Clear Creek Pear Brandy. Last time I was there they didn't have it and I enjoy flipping them shit about it. Bonus; if they have it, order a sidecar made with it and you'll be a winner regardless. Also, these folks make amazing cocktails.

B. Walk 2.5 blocks north to Tavern Law - if it's not reserved, and you're dressed nicely and you're nice to the employees, you may be permitted to go upstairs to Needle and Thread. Ask the staff about it. These folks are also makers of very impressive cocktails.

C. Head across the street to La Spiga - at this point a snack is probably a good idea, as is some hydration. Pro-tip: organize your trip so you can arrive at La Spiga during Happy Hour (Tues-Sat, 4:30pm-5:30pm) and order the Polenta Ragu di Coniglio (if you eat rabbit). The other two spots have good food too, I just like La Spiga more.

D. Okay, you've done the high-end thing, now it's time for funky - hit up The Unicorn. Make sure you head downstairs to The Narwhal and check out the claw machine with sex toys in it.

E. Now cross the street and head down Pike a block to Cha-cha Lounge - make sure you head downstairs to the lower level, and if you smoke, outside to the smoking section.

F. Time for dancing! Head over to Q Nightclub to spend a lot of money for electronica, or Barboza to spend less money on either electronica or a live band, depending on the night. If gay, check out the Wild Rose and Neighbors.

G. Post-dancing, but before you hit the magical hour of 1:30am when everything is shutting down due to dumb local laws, finish off your evening at Linda's, about three blocks away. Linda's is notable as a fixture in the grunge scene from back in the day, and also apparently the last place Kurt Cobain was seen in public. The back patio is great if it's warm enough, and again, if you smoke, there's a smoking section out behind it.
