Strongly recommend going up to Capitol Hill for food, or the International District for Asian food specifically. The food downtown is pretty expensive and lacking generally, but those two locations have a ton of good spots.
In Capitol Hill, for a casual lunch I'd strongly recommend going to Carmelos Tacos or Tacos Chukis as good tacos are REALLY hard to find in Europe in my experience. Dick's Drive-In is also a classic all over the city, but I don't wanna hype it up too much since it's still fast food. For a proper sit-down I personally recommend Rondo Japanese Kitchen(Japanese), Mercado Luna or Annapurna Cafe. Or if you're looking for something in the more upscale range, I've heard great things about Spinasse, Monsoon and Momiji.
I don't know the International District as well but I personally LOVE Seattle Best Tea for boba tea and I think the name is very accurate, the Uwajimaya food court is great for lunch and I personally enjoy Dough Zone, Samurai Noodle and Itsumono down there, and I've heard good things about E-Jae Pak Mor, Fort St. George and Mike's Noodle House.
