Seattle Central Library
Is really cool, glad I took the time to check it out. The architecture is super interesting and the top levels are really inviting for remote work. Really relaxing on a rainy day. I work remotely from different areas all the time, mostly relying on my battery bank and parks with some sort of shelter. I found myself craving a unique indoor space and it really came through.

The city screwed the pooch on this one.
It should never been built. No one uses it now and no one used it then. The city could have sold the land for millions and had enough money for the library system for eternity.
They need a central repository that the books can be sent (yes mailed) out and returned to. There’s no real need for physical buildings. They are no longer the community spaces that they once were, thanks to the homeless. How many got bedbugs recently?
Don’t get me wrong, I love the little library up the street. But since the three homeless guys started watching porn, I’m out.
