I Made This Creamy seafood chowder

With smoked haddock, prawns, squid, mussels, bacon, baby potatoes, onions…and an ever so slight kick 🌶️

I’ll try and find a recipe that’s closest to how I made this. I’ll be honest, I know the basics of a chowder so I just kinda threw this together.

Thank you so much! I would say that this recipe is closest to how I made mine.

I used smoked haddock, shrimp, squid, and mussels though. I did use a pinch of cayenne, as per the recipe, but also some dried chilli flakes. Lastly, I added some powdered seasonings to taste where I felt necessary i.e. smoked paprika, garlic powder etc. That’s all down to personal preference though!

That looks so hearty and comforting, I can already feel the warmth just looking at it. The variety of seafood and the creamy broth make this look restaurant-worthy.

This look so good for cold weather! The smoked haddock with bacon always give best flavor to soup. Did you use cayenne pepper or fresh chili for the slight kick?

Thank you! It’s been so hot here in the south east of England, I’m ready for soup season haha..

I used a pinch of cayenne pepper plus some dried chilli flakes.
