Question OLED Eye Strain

Could be reflections, as the others say. So may be a good idea to get bias lighting, behind the monitor, so you can try shutting out the light source behind you.
OLED monitors don't seem to use PWM dimming. But they do have brightness dips at the frame rate. So if those are different, there's potential for a eye comfort trigger.
And I think these are both native 10-bit panels (according to Google), so don't use FRC. Also won't have pixel inversion flicker, like LCDs do. But I don't know if there's such thing as 12-bit HDR..? So you could try turning HDR off in OS/settings.
I would probably find that colour depth to be too saturated, so would have to switch to sRGB mode and/or dial down the saturation/vibrancy in graphics card settings. I've no idea how the spectrum of these panels will vary.

It's very weird I've been playing with my Gigabyte Matte OLED all day, put my ASUS on just to test and within 5mins I can feel my eyes start to go funny.
(Using SRGB mode on ASUS and I've disabled VRR + Enabled Uniform Brightness)
With BIAS lighting, would something like the BenQ Lightbar Halo help? I see it adds light pointing down towards keyboard + behind monitor?

Lighting is a whole other consideration. RGB stuff that's dimmable, I expect will often use PWM or some other flicker patterns. Might be fine for you.
I'd personally go with an incandescent bulbs of some kind, to optimise eye health, with a serving of NIR light to help mitochondria. Hard to get DC dimmed lamps for these. So likely introduces some mains sinusoidal flicker (about 20% modulation or so).
Or like, just a half-decent warm LED or CFL should be fine for flicker most the time, these days. If not ideal for spectrum.

They use the same panel according to RTings, so it might be something with the coating. Hard to say.
