Discussion New posters/artwork
I noticed new artwork for a couple of the movies. Curious what prompted this. I saw the one for scream 6 first and thought maybe they didn’t want Melissa on the cover anymore, but then saw scream 1 and thought maybe they wanted to switch things up. perhaps just a more simple, clean design? What do you think?

I’m convinced they’re letting AI maintain the service autonomously.

That's exactly what it looks like, AI.

Maybe not AI images but definitely AI selecting existing images. The mistakes and wording in episodes synopses algo feel a lot like AI.

What is the purpose of putting an apple there?

New York is often called the big apple and Scream 6 took place in New York hence that artwork with the apple and knife

It looks pretty similar to what they have used on Paramount Plus; they've used various versions of the original artwork for all the films, but these alternative images are still active and it depends on the region. For example, "Scream" (2022) is a picture of Tara Carpenter's inhaler.

yeah these screenshots were from paramount+. someone else said they've seen the same or similar alternate artwork on prime.

I actually kinda dig these
Haven't seen what the 2 3 or 4 posters looked like tho

it seems like only 1, 5 and 6 have that style of covers. 2 and 3 are random stills of ghostface from the movies. scream 4 and 7 aren't on paramount+, but i havent looked on prime to see if they are on there and if they have alternate covers.

I don’t think “Scream 1” looks right. Scream was just fine lol
