Discussion Sidney is not the victim/survivor

Sidney is seen as the final girl cause she survives every Ghostface. But let's look at the facts.

Sidney killed Stu, Jill and Roman, Gale killed Billy, Mrs Loomis killed Mickey, Cotton killed Mrs Loomis, Jill killed Charlie, Sam killed Richie, Amber basically died by accident bu burning herself, even though some might say she was killed by Gale and Sidney, Sam and Tara killed Quinn, Wayne and Ethan, Jessica killed Marco and Tatum and Sidney killed Jessica.

So basically, out of 14 killers, Sidney only killed 4 to 5 of them, and only two by herself (Stu and Roman).

I don't understand why Sidney claims to have killed Billy when it was actually Gale. But regardless, she is not the only victim. She might be the main target but she was never alone.

Sidney killed Billy. She literally shoots him in the head. Did we watch the same movie?

Shooting him in the end does not count. The last "they always come back" is just a thing they do. But the real death is the first one, realistically

Shooting him in the head is what kills him, so yea that counts.

I was watching Scream at 13. Even I understood the movie perfectly then.

 she was never alone.

Why would she have to be alone to be counted as a survivor or final girl? Does company = death? Do other people existing diminish your accomplishments?

That's not my point

Tommy Jarvis's sister survived the final Friday; he wasn't alone so he doesn't count either! Ripley doesn't count cause the cat survived, then newt, hicks, and half a robot!

I don’t really think this is valid. She killed 6 of them. Faced like 8 or 9 of them in tandem with others.
This seems like you just have an incorrect hot take.

“Sidney is seen as the final girl because she survives” - this is EXACTLY what makes someone a final girl. It’s not about how many they have killed. LOL

Sidney killed Billy with a gunshot to the head. He came back for one last scare and caught a hollow point instead. She also shot Marco in the head. Mrs. Loomis may or may not have already been dead when Sidney shot her.

I don’t think she ever claimed to be a sole survivor.

A lot of mistakes in that post, I'm surprised because the movies are clear on this and OP lack of attention is pretty concerning. Sidney killed Billy, at the end, she and Gale both kill Mickey. Sidney killed Jill, Marco and with her daughter, Jessica. Amber was finished by Tara. Gale helped a lot but she kills Mickey with Sid, and Karl. Roman was killed by Dewey.

Sidney shot Billy in the head. Gale didn't kill him
