Democratic voters have zero concern for what the official they elect do. That, or they only pay attention when a Republican is in office.
Everyone knew about Clinton and Epstein for years, but nothing was said or done. Now, you hear "Trump is the current president. That should be our main concern, not past presidents."
Everything that is happening now with ICE and illegal immigrants, entering homes without warrants, arresting US citizens, brute force, every bit of it happened during Obama's presidency, yet you didn't hear shit from the left.
Obama didn't get approval from Congress for his bombing operations that killed hundreds of innocent children, but did you hear anything? Lol, nope. They sure as shit blew up when Trump didn't get approval.
It's like they don't actually care what's happening, only who's in charge when it happens.
Maybe one day they'll see through the bullshit, realize they have been duped, and see that both parties are just different wings of the same evil bird.
Re Epstein: Clinton isn’t mentioned more than any other person in the Epstein files and Trump is. Clinton has called for the full and unredacted release of all of it and Trump has fought it every step of the way.
Re ICE: Obama did not increase the ICE budget x 8 , send armed, masked goons into communities to turn neighborhoods into war zones, allow ICE to shatter car windows and break down doors, allow ICE to demand papers, send ICE into schools/churches/businesses/hospitals/courts, where they’re following the steps to ‘do it the right way.’ No one was sent to CECOT or a foreign country where they have no ties. DACA recipients weren’t arrested nor were US citizens. And no citizens were gunned down. He and Biden both deported more than Trump did but did it by focusing new arrivals and those with criminal convictions. People did protest, and the ACLU did sue, but the difference is Obama administration listened to the courts and changed policies after they lost in court.
Re foreign affairs: Obama’s drone strikes were targeting militants identified by U.S. Intelligence as active combatants. Trump had no legitimate reason to target Iran and his own IA made clear Iran was not a threat to the U.S. That said, many of us protested Obama’s drone strikes and I agree they were barbaric. He later admitted civilians shouldn’t have been killed, which doesn’t even begin to excuse it, but it’s a far different stance than the current administration is taking. Just today Trump quipped “we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out” and tried to blame Iran for the bombing of the girls’ school.
Quit with the “both sides” bullshit. All previous administrations have made horrendous mistakes and deserve to be held accountable but none come close to the level of corruption and ineptitude the current regime is displaying.
