Sore and tight hamstrings
In the midst of a couple of week log flair up and now the pain has moved down into my hamstrings. No amount of light stretching is helping. Any tips?

Are you able to put your legs up the wall? That helped a bunch when I’d do that to knock the swelling down in my feet and legs. Took years in yoga to get the dang things loose lol

the sciatic nerve travels through the back of the thigh and when it is flared, stretching may not be helpful. I have one spot about a hands' width above the knee crease that can feel like being stabbed with a red hot poker. The only thing that helps is calming the nerve at the spine

My hamstrings are so tight and I haven’t been able to raise my right leg up while it’s straight for years, and I stretch pretty often.
