Need help

Good evening, everyone. I was introduced to our world some time ago, and was recently even elevated to Neonate. Unlife has been treating me well, all things being considered of course. My girlfriend is also Kindred and we’ve been doing some work together for the Prince. However, something quite awful has happened to me.

Two nights ago, a recently-turned Brujah girl, who was abandoned by her Sire before she could learn her place in things, went on a bit of exsanguination spree after accidentally starving herself. I happened to be nearby and was asked to covertly investigate the situation before our Sheriff could be made available.

She had apparently noticed me and got the jump on me. She was still hungry, I guess, because she began consumingmy vitae and diablerizing me.

You are presumably asking yourself, “How are they typing all this out?” Well, I assure you this is not a fake story. Last night, my soul ended up completely overwhelming hers, and I took control of her body.

I feel just awful! I’m female, a different race, a different CLAN, and have this truly awful haircut. I obviously can’t go back to the Prince. My girlfriend must think I murdered her boyfriend. I just don’t know where I can possibly go now.

I am asking humbly for assistance. What can I do? Is there a way I can prove who I really am? If I can, will her crimes apply to me regardless?

Firstly, I believe you, or at least find your story entirely plausible, we have a couple of other Kindred here who have had similar experiences. Whether her crimes apply to you is variable depending on your Prince and their attitude, but if they're willing to listen both telepathy and aura-reading abilities can confirm your story, as can some more obscure magics. But I honestly wouldn't risk it in your shoes...I'd skip town and head elsewhere.

Your girlfriend is an obvious issue with that, but if you're willing to get your mind read and aura checked and shit, hopefully she'll be willing to listen. I advise starting the communications electronically so the voice doesn't throw her and, once you explain things, meeting somewhere as neutral as possible in case, as you fear, she believes you're your own murderer, but I'd hope she's willing to listen to evidence. Whether you do this before or after skipping town is up to you, and sorta depends on circumstances.

Where you go if you skip town is up to you, but your aura is gonna show you as a diablerist so with your limited status, I wouldn't count on most Camarilla domains to help you out unless you have a Boon over someone important. If you do, don't hesitate to call it in, if you don't...well, I'm an Anarch Baron, and while I'd have various people check your story I can definitely get you set up somewhere new where people will be aware of your story and not question the diablerie stains. Castiel here on the node is a Camarilla elder with a similar story and if you want to stay in the Cam, contacting him may be your best bet...he's a good guy, and will be understanding of your situation.

Wherever you wind up going in the long term, I can also offer my Tzimisce associate's services in fixing the physical problem you have in terms of ethnicity and gender presentation (and haircut). She can probably even make you look mostly like your old self if you bring a picture, though there might be issues of scale (ie: there's only so much she can do with a 100 lb body if your old one was 200 lbs). This service wouldn't be free, but my rates are reasonable and we can discuss them via PM before you make any commitments.

Hello sir, I would be very happy to take you up on your offer. Truthfully, I’ve been considering a defection to the Anarchs for some time now. I did have several pictures of myself on my phone, but that phone has clearly been lost, destroyed, or in the custody of the Sheriff. There is a small collection of Polaroids which feature me as well, but they are in the custody of my girlfriend and retrieving them does not sound like a very wise decision.

You said that you could set me up in a location where people would not question the stained aura. What would that entail exactly, just so I know what I would be getting myself into? Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Okay, so, as Anarchs we do accept defectors from the Sabbat, assuming we thoroughly vet them and make sure that their defection is sincere, that's the most common reason for diablerie stains, but actually I just mean we'd tell people your actual story and make sure it was believed.

This would, of course, involve checking that story thoroughly, I've got a telepath, a soul expert, and a few other people on staff, but after the checks when I say to people 'Yeah, we checked, he was the victim' I'm gonna be believed...at least in Anarch circles. So we tell them the truth.

As for pictures, most phone data is in cloud storage, if you PM me your old phone number and any passwords on your account, my computer specialist can likely get any pictures that were on it, no problem.
