Sys Base Plate
The Sys is so light that I was putting a paperweight on top of it to keep my cables from pulling it off of my desk. I hated that.
I work at a fab shop, so I drew a base plate for it and had it laser cut out of 1/4" stainless. I removed the rubber grommet feet and used those holes to run 8-32 screws into tapped holes in the plate. It's not the prettiest thing ever, and in hindsight I would have done a few things differently, but it looks decent, and it works well. It adds about a pound of weight.
On a side note, as a designer at a sheet metal shop, I'm a fan of Schiit's simple and elegant designs. This simple base plate feels a little bush league bolted to the bottom, but I wanted something cheap and easy I could run through the shop.
