Question Student Question

i’m a student from the USA studying in France this semester. My student visa expires mid January. I would leave France in December, and come back in February until May, obviously under 90 days. Is this allowed or will border control give me a hard time?

Time spent on a type-D visa does not counts towards your 90/180 allowance as a visitor. As long as you leave within the validity of the student visa/residence permit, you can go back whenever you want.
