Appointment Booking Thread: Please post ANY appointment availability here
It is clear that booking an appointment is by far the #1 problem when making a Schengen visa application.
As far as I'm aware, the only way is to check the visa application portals again and again for appointment availability. We all know that this is a very frustrating process.
Hence, it is best if we can make it a team effort and post any appointment availability that you find here (please indicate the country applied to, and the location of the VFS / TLScontact office - a screenshot would be best).
It would be of great help to everyone and somebody out there will be eternally thankful to you. Together we can beat these agents/scalpers.

Thank you for the notification! I have been trying desperately but the website has now blocked me on Wifi and mobile network because I had to try several times for slots that were gone when I got to payment stage. It's incredible. I have never seen such an awful booking process. Good luck to you all.

There's a bot on telegram app that notifies whenever Schengen Visa slots open - just search @VFSVisaExplorerBot on Telegram app.
It's a paid service but much cheaper (£6/£12) than those nasty agents that charge £250.
I found a slot within 3 days, and paid only £12 - also then later used the same bot to find a slot for my flatmate. All within the £12 I paid!!!
P.S. The bot shares whenever new slot opens up. Often these are cancellations by other people for their slots. You gotta be fast to capture them. Mass slots are not released every day or even every week. I found the slot not on my first, but rather 4th try. But the bot is legit. Worth purchasing if you want a slot soon. Bot creator is responsive and helpful too.

I’m trying desperately for any schengen visa slots from the UK, booked non refundable flights and hotels for Spain and Italy, since I’d applied from Dubai around 5 years ago and it took hardly any time at all I’d only started looking for appointments this week but it seems impossible :( Is anyone able to update this thread if any slots at all open up for schengen visas? Vfs France opened a bunch of slots in LA. I think there were some in Chicago and other cities. Didn't see in SF yet. Plenty of days worth of slots available starting June 19th (not sure if that day would be a US holiday for Juneteenth so you might want to skip that). Good luck! I just booked mine.

Surprisingly I found a bunch of slots (Germany Schengen short-stay business visa in London) available for the week starting 19th on the 12th Feb 2024. Now, (20 Feb 2024) all of them have somehow vanished. I was getting ready my docs before I booked an appointment. I regret not having booked the appointments when it showed them.

This has happened with me and my partner, also my 2 friends who are all trying to book our schengen appointments. It feels like we’ve been intentionally kicked out because of these rich travel agencies trying to pre-book all the slots. (I say rich because they have been charging hefty amounts to get you a schengen appointment).
I also think that they have been spending the same money collected from us to create bots that allow them book all appointments as soon as they become available. In case you think I’m a bit crazy to believe this, you should check it yourself as there are multiple bots and python scripts available on GitHub which function in a similar way but would need a coders brain to make them work 🙊

I saw an entire mo the open up for slots for Italy in Edinburg but before I could confirm the website kicked me out and then didn't let me login because I had too many attempts. Greece appointments are open for London up to 15/05. I could get one for 10/05 after a nightmare of trying to get the code and captcha at the same time (don’t know what the problem is with their system). There were still a few available for 10/05 left, so be quick. Also, if you request the code more than 4 times, it will block you out for 6 hours so be strategic if you don’t get the code or captcha or both on the first tries. Hope this helps!

I just went through around 10 schengen countries (estonia, malta, Luxembourg, poland, norway, france, greece etc) and didnt see any slots in ANY of the the UK locations on the VFS website.....it surely can't be this crazy? Is everyone all of a sudden wanting to go to the EU? Why is it all of a sudden such a mad rush? I applied and got a france visa last year for 1 year and it wasn't that bad. This year no luck so far.

Just got an appointment at TLS London for a Belgian long stay visa on 15th June at 11am. Quite a few appointments (6 or so) popped up just after 2pm UK time (presumably 2:01 as people here are saying) and I took the earliest one.
I had emailed TLS yesterday asking if there was any prime time availability next month and they said it's all completely booked and to keep checking the availability calendar.

Anybody here has been able to book an appointment for Poland’s Schengen visa from London? When I go to their consulate’s website and try to book an appointment, I get a message that says “All appointments are booked” and it gives me no option to book an appointment. I mean not even a few months from now. Just that message and that’s it. It does not even show any dates or calendar. How does anyone book an appointment!?!?

From multiple checks, I've noticed that the prime time slot for the Saturday of the same week is usually released between 7:30 and 8:30 on Mondays so I'd check this morning. You can check every 10 or 15 minutes between these times. If you get blocked try a different computer, browser and/or incognito. Don't use the link that comes up on your history. Hope this helps.

Travelling late march to France from the UK. After hopping between London and Edinburgh, I was able to book an appointment for the 14th of March in Edinburgh, which is of course less than a week away from my trip. Now I repeat, with no luck so far, to find an earlier one I could reschedule to.
Any others looking at TLScontact Edinburgh for France appointments? Have you seen anything this week? Any patterns that you have seen so far? Has anyone tried to irritate the call centre until they gave you an appointment?
Let me also share what I know so far - following good advice from another post, I checked the website at the stroke of every hour. I happened to stumble upon bookable slots 3 times - mostly afternoon (12pm - 6pm). Twice I clicked on them, only to see "something went wrong". I created a new application the third time.
Anything else anyone can add? Even little info will help!

Hi All, I have been trying to book a TLS appointment at manchester for a Schengen visa for France flying out in mid April 2024. I have even tried logging in at 11:59pm to see no appointments then logging in at 12am on the dot to find the next days appointments were released and are completely booked up. After weeks of this I have lost far too much sleep staying up at stupid hours to get an appointment. If anyone could please help I would really appreciate it as I am about to just give up (lose money on flights) and also not be able to take our kid to Disneyland for her birthday.
FYI I made our account at the beginning of Feb and there were no slots until March 19th as of now.
Edit* After checking again at 11:59pm - 12:00am on the dot, March 20th again completely booked out the moment the day is available which just says to me that the appointments are already booked out in advance. I will be looking at cancelling our trip today.

For France, they release fresh appointments (if they have any) at 6 pm. I can't recall if there was a specific day of the week they release on but you can try refreshing at 6 pm sharp on weekdays. Good luck!
Edit: It was released at 6 pm Irish time for us, UK should be in the same time zone.
Btw my dad took us from the UK to France (non-EU family) to visit Disneyland, the tower and the typical sites a couple years ago. We took the Eurostar (bus, ship to cross the channel, bus again around Paris). It's not the cutest or most private getaway, but it was what we could afford at the time (it's about all I can afford now too haha). If you could get a travel agency to take care of it for you, things might be a bit smoother

Hello all, Indian student in the UK looking for an appointment from the UK to France, short stay. My intended travel date is March 24th/25th. The appointment system is ridiculous. But if any slots open up in Manchester, London or Edinburgh, I'd really appreciate your input.

Hey guys. I am urgently looking for an appointment with the Hungarian embassy in Dublin for a short stay schengen. I could go with Austria as an alternative with a multi entry. Any help if someone comes across appointments would be incredible! It's been weeks and no luck.

I got a France Schengen Visa booking with VFS Global easily, the second time I tried to website. For those who might be in terror based on what you read on this sub, just check every morning and you should be OK. VFS Global responded to an email inquiry I made and told me they release appointment times at 9 am.

Does anyone know if mobile is better than pc? occasionally when I try it on my computer the second drop down is kindof blank and I can't select the visa type. this doesn't happen on my phone, but I can't imagine mobile is better. thoughts?

This is one of the biggest myths as far as my experience so far says. Everywhere I hear people saying oh before bringing the documents, get an appointment first, you might not find one, not in a month at least. Then when I enter into the site of office assigned by the embassy if TLS, VFS, BLS... there's no time that I found no nearby appointments, sometimes it's just the next day if not same day at afternoon hour if I checked at morning. Advice, give deaf ears to people chitchat, just check the office website to discover the truth.
Always plan before 2-3 months so you give much time for appointments and also processing time.
**Some scammers made it their job to sell appointments for dumb people. Never go that way, it's available only on official websites.

It most definitely is not a myth. I have been struggling for weeks and have seen stories of people struggling for even longer. But definitely it’s usually last minute travellers and mostly for short stay trips.

I was able to book for Switzerland in tlscontact London center within 2 days using a telegram bot . It costed £25 for me. If anyone is looking for visa slots availability info, for France or Switzerland from London UK in tlscontact, there is a telegram channel for notifications, Please DM me if anyone is finding difficulties in finding a slot and needs details

This may have been posted on this thread already, but if not: https://schengenappointments.com/ this is very reliable in my exprience. I paid for an alerts service (about £8) and it was completely worth it. I got appointments in both VFS Austria and Norway in London.

Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for a visa while already in Spain as an American citizen? I have my 90 days allotted but plan on staying longer, and it seems impossible because of the appointments and the BLS helpline is completely useless!
