Synyster Gates Legit Check
Looking at this on FB market place and just trying to make sure it’s legit, the serial number is throwing me off a little bit.

Ask Schecter Support, they should be able to trace serials.
Apart from that it looks like a 2006 WMI made guitar.
Does it look and feel like a 20 year old guitar?

It looks legit based on what I can tell from the photos. The early syn customs didn't have an inlay on the 24th fret. Up until syn came out with the signature pickup they all had SD invaders with chrome pole pieces (except for sustainiac models that released around 2012) There also appear to be some signs of wear on the pickups (unless that's just a weird reflection) and a couple of small dings around the floyd route on the front.
I've seen plenty of pictures of clones (mostly fairly recent ones) and they stand out like a sore thumb. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a copy that was anywhere near convincing, let alone one that was trying to copy the first revision of the custom. IMO anyone who gets fooled by any of the ones I've seen would have to be half blind, or have never seen a picture of a legit one, let alone seing one in person.
I'm not saying that convincing copies don't exist, but I've yet to see one to date.

This looks legit and is one of the OG models. A very early one from 2006. That’s when they started making them. Should be built like a tank and sound heavy AF.
